A photo worth a thousand memories

Ted had been the most active guy on the trip. Arranging everything from places to visit and what food to try out. Today he got us all ready by ten am to go to the train station. He had planned a day trip traveling by train.

I was not sure about it at first, but I thought of it as another experience. The person who enjoyed the ride most was Little Moon. She enjoyed the views and the sea breeze to her content. My mother on the other hand was on a mission to take many photos, she went click-click till her hands ache.

"Ted, thank you sone for this ride. The views of the beach and the ocean are breathtaking." said my mom.

"Aunty, can I see the photos you took?"

"Yes sure.." My mother handing the camera to Ted to watch the photos she took.

"WOW!! Is this really my sister" Suddenly exclaimed Ted.

We all gathered around him to see the photo he was talking about. It was a photo of Little Moon looking at the sea from the window. She looked like she was a goddess with the rainbow around her. A beautiful composition of her. No wonder everyone praises my mom as a good photographer.

I looked around and saw her still seated and watching out of the window.

"Hi..." I sat beside her, hugging her tight as I felt she was not feeling happy.

"What's wrong"

"Nothing..."

"I know you have something in your mind, tell me. I will listen to you."

She looked at me for a while, before starting,

"Brother D and I used to walk on the beach in the morning once in a while. Even though there is nothing much to say but I enjoyed those times the most. One of the best memories I have in my life."

"You know he wants the best for you in everything and for you to be happy."

"Hmm..."

"Beach is the only place that I can calm down."

"You know. My own home is near the beach, so when we visit you can go to the beach anytime." I smiled at her.

To be honest, I bought that home recently. The house itself was newly built with modern amenities, which Little Moon is interested in. In the future, I plan to keep this home as our private villa for vacation time. Her main base will be the current home. But with her upcoming new responsibilities, she will be traveling to and for, and I will have to be with her to help her out with the work as discussed with Mr.D.

Suddenly I realized I haven't heard how Mr.D was doing. SoI called Kevin in hope of getting some news.

"Hi Kevin, how is Mr.D doing these days?"

"Mr.D is doing fine. He is doing extra physical training these days."

"Must be really painful for him, going through all these and managing the company."

"He is well organized and hard-working, so within a few days of training he was able to stand up for a few minutes," said Kevin with a sigh of relief.

I am so happy to hear this news. Maybe this new drama was the one that motivated him to try out what he first refused. I sincerely hope he can achieve what he wanted.

I looked at the photos I have taken the past few weeks. They show various expressions of Little Moon. If she had been more extroverted, she could have been a model that everyone sorted out.

Her asset was her eyes. They are so expressive.

The future seems promising but I have to think of protecting her privacy. Recently my fan base has been wondering why I was missing without any new updates. Being in the public eye was exciting at the start but now I have started to feel I prefer privacy more with less publicity on my life.

While I was in though we had arrived in our destination. Ted has arranged for us to go on a safari. An opportunity for my mother to take photos of the wilderness.

"Aunty do you see those birds" Ted was helping my mother to look for wild animals to photograph.

"Look at their colors, so vibrant" exclaimed my mother. "Geo look at them, do you think these colors will look good for a new dress," she asked me while looking at Little Moon.

MY mother likes to sew. Now she has got a daughter she was looking for, so she wants to make her a dress. I know she has already visioned the dresses for Little Moon for events and parties. I looked at Little Moon. She was looking away at the scenery. I stroked her hair hoping she would look at me.

"Hi"

"Hmm"

"Did you see that little bird?"

"Hmm"

"That yellow color on its feathers will suit nicely on you for an award night."

She looked at me.

"Yes you will accompany me for an award night"

"Me?" she asked me while I nodded to say yes. "Why?"

"You will know when the time is right"

"Hmm"

Ted had arranged a beach picnic lunch for us after the safari. The food was delicious and we all had a walk around the town for a change. While others shop for souvenirs I took Little Moon for a little trip to find seashells for her seashell bottle.

I didn't know how much time we spend till Ted called to get back to the train station. We were all a bit tired by now but we all enjoyed the trip. Especially my mom she was so happy as she was able to get photos of some beautiful wildlife.

The only person who didn't care about taking photos was Little Moon. I remember her telling me about living in the moment, I guess she wanted to enjoy the view in her memory rather than busy herself with photographing.

I looked at the photos I took today. There was one photo that captured everything about her with the view of the sea. I uploaded this photo captioned "A photo worth a thousand memories."
