We had been filming for a few days now and everything has been going on well. Mary has been cooperative but being neglected by others because of her attitude before. So most of the time she spent time in her hotel room.
Little Moon had done some initial designs and sent it to the art department. Her new assignment was to do some designs for a poetry collection that will be shown in an art gallery in the USA. In total, she has about fifty designs to do within six months if the initial drawings were approved.
She has to work hard and to grasp the hidden message behind the poems. Even though those poems were simply written, figuring out what they mean was a tough challenge. When I didn't have any shooting or overseeing the filming I would find time to read these and grasp the idea.
"Did you check the e-mail I sent you?" I called her one night.
"Yes...hmm... I had a similar interpretation of those poems."
"Maybe you should send him those and see if they will match with his vision."
"Guess soo.." I felt like she was in bed.
"Little Moon.."
"Hmm... are you already in bed?"
"Yes.. but I can't sleep or work.." she said.
"oh dear... then what can I do.. I too far away from you." I teased her, but I really miss her now.
"I am tired of tossing on my bed too. Maybe I'll sleep on the porch with stars above."
This is what I was scared of, her sleeping outside. I have to think of a way to make her sleep in her room.
"Ok I will tell you a story till you fall asleep but you have to promise me to stay in bed."
"Hmm ok... let's try it..." she agreed.
She used to react to the story once in a while but after about fifteen minutes I didn't hear any sound from her. I guess she was fast asleep by now. I could only do was imagine her and stroke her black hair in my dream.

The next morning we had scheduled filming near the pond. This scene is created as an imaginary scene by the two main leads. The imaginary scene is about having a picnic to celebrate the win of her first design competition.
I have never seen what she designed for the competition. She has never talked about it with me. Maybe I should ask Mr.D about it. I know he was the one who encouraged her to apply for that competition. While everyone was getting ready for the shoot, I called Mr.D.
"Good Morning Mr.D."
"Good Morning, George. How is the shooting going on today?"
"We are getting ready for the shoot. I saw the new poetry project by Little Moon."
"She is having a little conflict herself after reading those poems. Must be hard for her."
"Why is it, Mr.D?"
"She had gone through some of the situations written on those poems. Especially the verse about "Trust"."
"I will help her out Mr.D. Don't worry."
"Thank you, George. Having you is a great thing for her."
"MR.D. The scene we are shooting is the imaginary picnic she has written."
"Hmm... she really wanted to go on that picnic. But we couldn't make it."
"What happened Mr.D?"
"Little Moon planned to go out with me but something unexpected came up. A disagreement with her friends. She was feeling down. But it affected her life badly."
"Oh, what happened to her?"
"She stopped all connections with them and isolated herself from them."
"So the only person she kept in touch with was only you?"
"Yes.. I don't know how she wrote that part."
"Mr.D?"
"Yes"
"Do you have what she drew for the competition?"
"I will send it to you."
"Thank you, Mr.D."
He send me a photo of the drawing that she did. Five girls sitting on a grassy land looking at the night sky. This was beautifully drawn and I realized she had not once mentioned her friends to me during my stay. I knew she still refuse to get in touch with them.
"George, can you please help us with the shooting. I think your feedback is important." Lee came to me after everything was ready.
"WOW!! what a nice drawing.. Was it done by her?"
"This is the main point for this scene. A celebration and a conflict." I looked at Lee, he looked confused.
"This was drawn by Little Moon, the first award she got for digital art. But it was also a painful memory that she hates to recall."
"Oh my... I thought this beautiful scene was supposed to have a happy story." was all he said.
"Sometimes beautiful things hold a sad story."
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Because I knew the story of this imaginary scene, I was more crucial to get the emotions outright from the actors. I wanted to use this scene as a closure to Little Moon's heartache with her friends. My only hope is they will watch this drama and they would reach out to her. But accepting them or not is up to her. I contacted the editing department and asked them to use this drawing as a memory in the drama blended with this scene.
We had to do this scene several times, as this was not a romantic scene but a celebration of acceptance. I got Little Moon to come online and check the final shoot. This is a crucial point in the drama that indirectly relates to why she got close to Mr.D (In reality). The only change she wanted was to have a shot of their backs seated on the ground and with her head on his shoulder.
I looked at her. There wasn't a single smile on her face. Maybe those old memories were too painful. I okayed the scene and told Lee to look out for things while I go out for a little. I went a bit far from the crew and called Little Moon. She didn't answer the phone even after ten rings. I called Ted.
"Ted, how is your sis?"
"She suddenly went to her room and locked the door. Is everything ok?"
"Mainly everything is ok, but the scene filmed now must have bought some bad memories back to her."
"Hmm... I think I know. Is that the part of the picnic?"
"Yes."
"Don't worry Brother Geo, I'll look for my sister. It's the memory she wants to forget forever in her life and mind."
"Ok Ted, I will leave her to you. She won't answer my calls. Call me if anything comes up."
"Ok brother, don't worry."
If she hates the back story of this why did she add this to the story? Maybe she has forgiven them in the heart but not in her mind. Maybe what happened was too much for her to bare.
