Life in school went on and on and on so we got to senior secondary level. Life as a senior is not that bad for starters but along the line you will notice some difficulties and changes. We had a new student by name Davis, a tall, handsome, fair in complexion guy who came from a wealthy home. Davis was not a guy i would hang out with cause he always hung around with the bad guys in my school. He always got away with troubles he created because his dad was a senator and highly connected as well. I for once found someone who I didn't want to associate myself with and maintained my standard till the end of my secondary school. I graduated with five As and four Bs. My dad and my mum were very happy and sad at the same time because they had no money to further my education. Dad was recently fired from a job and mum has been having bad sales. I decided to work part time jobs, I worked in hotels, bars, restaurants, in some houses as a janitor,a teacher and a Cook for a year. The following year I decided to apply for a JAMB exam, I sponsored my Jamb fees and scored 292 out of 400 questions. I applied for the nursing and midwifery course at The University of Nigeria Nsukka UNN. Days later after the examination i got an admission to study at the University, I was so excited and ran to show my mum dad and my siblings and they were all glad I made it but my anxiety was still on the school fees. Before School resumption my dad made effort to borrow money from the bank in order to pay for my acceptance fee into the school, my mum was able to raise some money to buy foodstuffs and other materials and few stuffs I needed.
I finally resumed school on the day of resumption, saw new faces, met new people, located my lodge, organized myself and finally prepared myself for tomorrow's lectures. Mikaella and Alexander were sent abroad to continue their studies, I called them to share the good news and they were both excited, they sent me the total of 650000 Naira to help sustain myself in school i was so surprised, i called them that very evening and began to thank them, I ran out of words to say, tears of joy had already filled my eyes.
