chapter 14

Bakugo was confused, first it was Kota, a boy that appeared out of nowhere, and now, "Eri, this is Kacchan. He is very grumpy. Be careful of him." was what Kota just said to the little girl that was now staring right into Bakugo's soul with her innocent red eyes.

For Eri however, Bakugo looked more like a angered little dog then someone bad, compared with Chisaki and the others from the 'Eight Precepts of Death', so she was curious about the blond boy.2

Izuku had left after giving Bakugo his meal, only saying 'No cursing.' to Bakugo, Is he a witch? the Innocent thought appeared on Eri's mind, Toga was attending to costumers, and Kota distracted himself with a game, that left Eri and Bakugo into a staring contest.

Bakugo blinked not thinking much of it, and Eri jumped up on her chair and Whisper-yelled "I WIN!", which made Bakugo blink again, Is this little girl underestimate me! Something awakened in Bakugo that made him want to show how awesome he was. Not thinking of anything else, he devoured the remaining of is sandwich and got up.

Eri looked at the spiky haired blond get closer to her, He is pouting! Eri came to the conclusion, which made a small smile appear on her face, even though she didn't know she was making, she only blinked as the blond screamed at Toga saying that he would that Eri for a bit, and proceeded to grab her and give her a shoulder ride through town.

Katsuki Bakugo isn't someone that would do this kind of things, at least he thought that was the case, but something in the little girls eyes were telling him of a complete different world of his, something he never saw before, the girl was calm in his shoulders, as she carefully inspected every inch of the new scenario she was seeing.

Not being able to resist anymore Bakugo made a question that he after wished he never made, Ignorance is bliss after all, "So... Why are you at Dek- Izuku's place?" The little girl to caught up with the scenario didn't even flinch as she answered it, as if it was nothing much, she told him about the abuse, the experiments, everything with simple and small words, everything explained in no more that 3 lines.

I'm a monster...

They wanted to turn me into a medicine?

Izu saved me.

He didn't need to hear anymore, the girl was used as an experiment, was tortured and somehow was helped by Izuku, that was all he understood with those small lines.

Bakugo sighed as the world turned into a much darker place than he was used to, he made a quick glance up to see the little girl one more time, I will take her to that place. Bakugo thought as a smirk appeared in his features.

Eri didn't know what that place was, but there was a lot of water there, the angry boy told her to take her shoes off, and her feet felt the little rocks, "What is this place?" Was all Eri could ask as she looked at every inch of the place she was in.

"This is the beach that Izuku and I cleaned! Took us 6 months, but now is completely clean!" The angry boy screamed, pride lacing every word he said.

"Beach?" Eri asked, the little girl didn't know what it was, but she understood that it was the place where she was.

"You will see! This place will change colors in a few minutes." Bakugo said as the sun started to set, taking a glance at the silver haired girl besides him, he sat down and placed the girl in his lap, as she took in the full picture of the setting sun in the ocean water.

Eri's eyes sparkled as the blue water turned orange, and the sand? sparkled here and there, she wasn't expecting something like that, the colors that appeared were completely different from before, How? Why? Eri questioned herself as she could only comprehend it as Beautiful.

Bakugo grinned as he achieved what he wanted, the little girl on his lap, with a big bright smile, one that could resemble Izuku's, was almost jumping in joy as the sun finally disappeared completely on the horizon.

As if on cue Bakugo's phone rang, a simple message from Izuku, one that said for him to come back to the cafe, and bring the girl with him, but the thing was, Bakugo didn't want to go back to the cafe, he wants to take the girl home.

He messaged the plan to Izuku and placed the little girl on his shoulders, as the little girl didn't stop the questioning of what happened a moment ago, Bakugo also felt his phone ring but didn't mind it one bit.

Not that long after, Bakugo knocked on a door, Eri questioning him of the place where they were, Bakugo only smiled and said that they were only going to eat something and then he would take her to Izuku.

Eri calmed down, and the door opened, a female version of Eri's now favorite angry boy appeared from the other side, the woman instantaneously locked eyes with the little girl.

"Brat explain." A sweet voice came out of the woman, as she finally looked at Bakugo.

"She is having dinner with us today." He said, a voice much smaller than what the woman was used to.

Bakugo let himself in and brought the girl with him, her not having a choice since she was on Bakugo's shoulders, after getting inside, Bakugo set the girl on the sofa and sat besides her.

Eri remembered what Kota said, "Kacchan? Why are we here?" Bakugo's eyebrow twitched as he heard the nickname, he still didn't like being called 'Kacchan'.

The nice woman then appeared in front of Eri, "What is your name, little angel?" The woman asked.

Bakugo Mitsuki was many things, but one thing she wasn't was a bad mother, she understood that her son was just showing the place to the little girl, to show that it was a safe place for her to come if trouble came, she saw that the girl was slightly panicking at the new environment so she decided to ask her name.

Mitsuki also noticed the small scars she had on her arms, and scanning over the little girl's body she noticed her legs had some too, the girl was now much more calm and dinner was close to be done, so Mitsuki decided to entertain the little girl for the little remaining time she had before dinner was ready.

Katsuki was surprised that his mother didn't question him further, but the glances she gave him, told him otherwise, she was going to question the boy, just not at that moment.

Eri enjoyed the nice dinner, it was spicier than what she was used to, but it was very tasty, what she didn't expect was Izuku just straight up come inside and grab her. Izuku since young had a key for the Bakugo's, he was a family friend after all.

Izuku started yelling at the blond boy, and Eri was just surprised at Izuku, He came for me again! Eri thought as she took in all the warmth from Izuku's hold, as it was strong and secure, Eri didn't know why Izuku was so angry anyway, and the nice woman was wide-eyed too, she seemed like she was seeing something she was expecting in her wildest dreams.

Well, Mitsuki was not expecting, Izuku rush into her home, take a hold of a little girl, and scream at her son. She could only smile at the event.

Angry boy then said his farewells to the little girl, what he wasn't expecting was a hug from her side, he enjoyed the small gesture and gave her a smile, not a grin but a smile.

Izuku then headed back to the cafe, and led Eri to her bed, so that she could have a rest after her very long day.

----------------------

A week passed, Toga wasn't happy, Izuku had completely focused on work and on Eri and Kota, and Toga was being left out from all that, so she came up with a plan, she convinced Izuku that Eri could play with Bakugo, and asked Mandalay to take Kota to work with her, after that, she put a sign saying that the cafe was close for the day.

That day was the day that Toga got a date with Izuku... Well, for Izuku was more of a outing with a friend, a very close friend, that if asked he would offer his life for, but a friend.

Toga was aware of the status that she had with Izuku, but she was confident that she could change it for the better.

But even if they are going in a outing, how do they do that, neither of them as experience on it, one was completely avoided by everyone because of a quirkless status, the other was avoided because of the 'villainous quirk' situation, so neither of them had the change to go out with people.3

For Toga though, that didn't matter, just going out shopping with Izuku was enough, as soon as she was out of the cafe with him, she skipped all the way to the mall with him, for what, they don't know, they just got there.

They had fun window shopping, looking and thinking of nice gifts and souvenirs they could get for Eri and Kota, they also enjoyed quite a bit their stay at a cafe that was there, both of them thinking and chatting about the menu items, and if they could add any to their own.

After some time though, Toga realized, everything was the same, both of them were out of the cafe, but they were thinking and analyzing things to add to their menu, Eri and Kota were not present but they were still looking for gifts for them.

And the worst part of all that, is that Toga enjoyed those moments. Worst because it was supposed to be Toga and Izuku's moment for themselves. But it also filled Toga with warmth, she had a place that she could return to, a place to call home, a family to stay with.

Toga decided to surrender to destiny, and just accept that even if Izuku is focused in the cafe and in taking care of the kids, he is always there for her, a blush and a thirst that Toga known for all her life started to appear on her features, but she pushed them back, resisting the urge to do something that would be bad for the two.

After all, she could be herself with Izuku, but she was still scared of people's reaction at them, to them she was a monster worst than villains after all, a person with a cruel villainous quirk, something that shouldn't be around people.

As if Izuku noticed her worries, he grabbed Toga's hand, not even needing to look at her, and the thoughts that she was having disappeared instantaneously. Toga accepted the warmth from Izuku while they enjoyed the remaining of their outing together.

I'm not giving this moment for anything else...
