Riding with the Prince

The day of Nathaniel's burial came quicker than Rose's expectations. It had been roughly two weeks since the day of his death but, the palace looked like it wasn't going to recover form the loss anytime soon.

The King and Queen had been in their room on the arrival of the news. Their breakfast, lunch and dinner was sent to their room. No one was allowed to disturb them for anything, anything at all but, they couldn't stay in their room and attend their child's burial? They would have to come out soon.

Rose was readily dressed for the burial. She wore a black A-line dress that had a white collar and was at knee-length, white pearl necklace, pearl earrings and black elbow length gloves but, she wasn't wearing any make-up, just lipgloss. She tied her hair in a low bun, fixed a few bobby pins here and there and she was ready to leave.
