A sense of bliss came over Alex, for almost a moment, before a voice boomed through it. "Ayo lil Al finally got a Mana, seems pretty dumb though, Mimic? What are you a mime", an overly cocky amount of laughter rose from those around him. God, he wished he could wipe that ugly smug smile off Derek's face, but he's a Lvl 5 Firestarter, anyone who has half a brain isn't going to go after a Firestarter when they're Lvl 1 and don't even know how to control their Mana.
A force grabbed onto Alex's hand and threw him across the hall. Guess Dereck was in a bad mood. He went to scorch Alex; the Healers would deal with it but this was going to hurt. The fire ball subsided. The silence inside the hall was palpable, well near silence- Ms. Clark, the principle appeared by his side. "Dereck Paul if you don't get into my office right now I swear your mother will be the least of your worries" Dereck slowly made his way towards her office, "and Alex Well please report to the Healers" she continued. In a click both Dereck, Ms. Clark and Alex were all transported to their intended destinations, teleportation Mana, not too common but still wasn't that big of a deal to possess. The school was just lucky Ms. Clark lowered her standards.
"Alex, Ms. Clark told us you finally developed your ability, let us see" a sweet voice greeted him, Abby was the school nurse, someone way too qualified to be here. Her Mana is called, Minding, it allowed her to enter the minds of others, a very rare Mana to have, only reason she even works at the school was to practice healing the bodies of people through the mind, she's got pretty fricken good at it.
He felt her slip into his mind, seeing what he saw and thought, soon he felt her leave. "Although I must admit I haven't ever heard of 'Mimic' it seems to just mimic the abilities of all those you touch, then you can just wield their power, forever, although you can only wield Lvl 5 Firestarter power", she spoke it as if it was just a normal everyday thing, I mean, at least now he knew what it did. He then noticed her quickly recoil, she hadn't touched him yet and I guess she didn't want it to mimic her. "Sorry I'll leave now Abby, thanks for the help!", he walked out, Abby gave him the rest of the day off so he just left and decided to head home, maybe his mother knew more about this ability.
