She was glad that she got the job finally. Even though Shawn was her boss which she never thought that he would be her boss. She was delighted that he was treating her well. As they were heading to Shawn's office. She couldn't stop to think about how he was acting so good to her despite not returning his t-shirt. She never imagined that they would meet again. To top it all, he was her boss and she would be his personal assistant. She knew that since she was going to be his personal assistant. That they would be seeing each other more often.

She sighed heavily as the lift stopped. She was going to see him yet again. "Are you okay?" Steve raised a question. He noticed the way she seemed nervous.

"Yes I am fine", she lied to him. She couldn't tell him that their boss was making her nervous. Especially when his eyes were glued on her. She felt like shying off.

"I know the reason. You are crushing on him", She never thought that it was that obvious. That he could see that she had a crush on him. Even though she didn't want to admit it. She felt so nervous every time she was close to him. It was her first time to feel that way when she was around Shawn. But still, she couldn't accept it. She knew that it was a stupid mere crush that would end soon. And since he is her boss now, she just wanted to have a professional platonic relationship with him.

"No am not", she denied hastily. She didn't want to admit it. She couldn't inform him that he was right even though her facial expressions betrayed her.

"As you say so, but do not fall for him. He will just heartbreak you", Steve informed her. He knew Shawn well and the way he used to treat girls badly. He didn't want Cat to fall for him and end up being heartbroken.

"No I won't", She assured him that she couldn't fall for him. Even though she had started to have a crush on him. She didn't want the crush to accede to something else. All she wanted to do is to be a good personal assistant to him and nothing more than that.

"Okay I hope so you shouldn't end up like his other personal assistants", he informed her as he sat at his desk. She stood beside him, she wanted to hear more. She wanted to know more about Shawn. Even though she was starting to crush on him since he was cute. She hoped that the crush would end soon since she didn't want to fall for him.

"They all end up falling for him since he likes a lady as his personal assistant. After they fall for him, they end up being in a relationship with him which breaks immediately after. They don't date for long, he can't stay with one woman for long", he mentioned. He wanted her to know the truth so that she couldn't end up like the rest of them. She was glad that he took the time to warn her about their boss. She wasn't happy that he can't stay with one girl for long.

"That's so sad, I won't fall in love with him", she assured him. She didn't want to end up like the rest of his personal assistants. She wanted to be different, she wanted Shawn to see that she won't end up begging for his attention.

"Good I hope so. You can enter his office he's been waiting for you", Steve informed her. Her eyes widened as he stated that Shawn was waiting for Cat. She couldn't understand the reason why she was becoming nervous each time she heard his name. This time she simmered in her emotion and didn't seem nervous.

"Thank you for today", the corners of her lips rose as her smile enveloped her face. She was grateful that he was genuinely good to her despite her being a stranger. She sighed as she opened the door. Shawn was sitting on his desk while he was staring at his laptop. Immediately she stepped in, he stopped staring at the laptop and turned. His eyes were glued on her, she was becoming nervous again. She didn't like that every time he stared at her with that look. She felt goosebumps filling her entire body.

"You can sit", he pointed at the seat he wanted her to sit on. The corners of her lips rose as she sat on the seat. Her eyes were locked with his, she tried her best not to appear shy. She wanted to look bold before him like never before.

"Do you like this place?" he raised an unexpected question.

"Yes, I do. I love everything about here and how everyone is hardworking", she answered him. She didn't get the essence of the question but since he's her boss. She had no other option than to just answer him.

"Good", he stated. He took a booklet from his drawer and handed it to her. He informed her that it was the contract for the job. As she was about to start reading it. He told her to go home with it and bring it the following day.

"Thank you", she smiled broadly.

"Aaah since you are my good friend. I will be the one selecting your outfits", he mentioned. She wasn't expecting him to help her choose her outfits. She thought that he would ask Steve to help her with that. She couldn't understand why he volunteered to help her out. She knew that he is a busy man but still he offered to help her in selecting her clothes.

"Thank you sir", she mentioned with a slight grin on her face. He smiled back and shut down his laptop.

"Let's go take our late lunch. I will tell you then more about your job as my personal assistant", he mentioned. She was wondering why he was offering to train her yet Steve could do that. Did it mean that he liked her? Did it mean that he valued her, unlike the other personal assistants he has had? She decided not to overthink about it and do as he said. Since he was her boss, she didn't want to annoy him on her first day of work.
