arc two chapter 1-the king of hell

two years after Reiji's mother disappeared with the system. he is sitting in his mansion it looks battered. the sides have vines growing on them. the roof broken. reiji sits there disheveled. his face covered in his hair, which has grown long and unruly. he stares at his hand and recalls the message in the ground.

at first he was happy yet confused by his memories. did that world exist already or was it fake. obviously, he doesn't understand. the pure suffering. the beatings he took the blame he endured. for what? why did he have to suffer? to know humility? for justice? no, it was for nothing.

reiji slams his hand down, causing a crater in his yard. reijis eyes shining through his hair turns to the left.

"I am not needed guild master Gillian. just leave me to wallow in my ways." reiji puts up a hand, shooing him off. Gillian, however, doesn't leave.

"Boy, you have had too much to deal with. the world should never rest on the shoulders of one child." Gillian walks forward, handing reiji an envelope. reiji looks at him hollow and uncaring. Gillian sets it down.

"This is an update on your friends. believe it or not, there are those who care about you. you can not wallow in your self-pity forever. they will come eventually killing all you hold dear."

Gillian walks off, only tuning once to look at reiji as he grabs the envelope. he smiles then looks back to the kingdom. "I hope you are ready, reiji. like it or not, they will come for you first." Gillian places a hat on his head as it starts raining. reiji waves his hand covering the letter in a field so it doesn't get wet.

[Dear reiji]

[How have you been? well I know there's no need to ask. you are probably sulking ignoring us as usual. we wanted to let you know we have all grown stronger. Rosalie, especially, she said she may want to visit you soon. we, of course, tried to stop her. however, she wouldn't listen. norther would the two princesses. Francesca is still serving the king. and your friends have returned to their respective hometowns. however, reiji, we all wanted to thank you. without you, we would like to thank you. even if you had to suffer, you kept going. you protected us all in times of crisis. we hope you see that you are truly a hero, and the place you belong is beside us.]

[From everyone]

reiji smiles looking over the note. maybe he has sulked for too long. he stands, covering himself with an energy shield to block the rain. he looks at the letter again rereading it. moving his hand at the bottom is a ps.

[p.s Rosalie should be there a day after you receive this letter from Gillian.] reiji slaps his forehead thinking to himself.

[Damn I can't let her see me like this. the house either.] reiji looks at his mansion. he walks forward, setting a barrier around the manor but under the vines. he blows some fire onto the vines. they burn regardless of the rain. he smiles then instantly frowns. I need to get to work.

[The next day]

Reiji worked all night. The bags under his eyes prove that. he jumps off the newly done roof. landing, he nods at his handiwork. he pulls out the letter. then nods going inside to wait for her. he starts brewing tea as he senses someone at the door. the two princesses burst in screaming.

"Reiji hurry Rosalie was taken by some demon covered in black scales." Reijis eyes goes wide the area around him starts to shake. miya and Arianna both slap him.

"Get it together, and stop breaking down at the slightest revelation. the portal was open when we left you should." they are cut off by an explosion at the door. two Demons covered in black scales with the infinity symbol carved onto their arms. break in.

(???) kekeke look what we have here if it isn't the dragon king and his little girlfriends.

they say in tandem while itching their grayish faces. they step in tandem as well. coming close to reiji. reiji looks up. he is taller than before, but these demons are at least 5 feet taller than him. then again, size isn't a good estimation of strength. they both go to punch reiji. However, they are stopped by walls of wind and fire. the girls raise their staffs together firing a barrage of magical energy. pushing the two Demons outside. reiji lifts his hand, looking at the torn letter. his anger apparent on his face as he dissappears.

[Somewhere ina field of skulls and bones

sitting on his throne is Rosalie father. looking down the giant demon smirks. "so even that man can break, huh? will he come for you? does he know?" Rosalie shakes her head then looks down.

her scars still showing. "I wasn't able to tell him. I'm sure he won't come he hasnt for the last two years." Rosalie dejected raises her arms, which are sealed with several chains. "why don't you let me go, Father?"

the giant demon laughs fire erupting from his throat. "You may be my daughter. However, you are also the key to the world above. he is the key to staying there." he says, pointing at an image of reiji dissappearing and then reappearing through the forest surrounding his home.

Rosalie reaches up her hands towards reijis picture. her father chuckles again the deep, unnerving dual voices coming from his mouth. "Listen give it up he won't love you as you are. no mortal will. your wings, your soul are both as black as mine. join me my daughter, kill him, and we shall rule together."

Rosalie shakes her head. "You better be more careful of what you wish for father!!!" she breaks the restraints, her eyes glowing a deep red. you may get what you deserve." she rushes at him. it is useless. However, she is flung back down and chains coming out of the ground wrap around her.

Angry he stands his body shrinking into a humanoid form. he steps out his white hair is long. his black eyes with a red slit pupil staring at her. his blackened armor covered in scales similar to feathers. he spreads his wings which are about twelve feet long. covered in metal like feathers. he pulls in his wings, covering himself, making a long coat. he turns to behind his throne. a legion of millions of demons await. he raises his hands. "I AM THE TRUE KING OF HELL!!! we shall rule together both below and above." The legions of Demons all different in look stature and race scream in unison. Rosalie eyes go wide.
