Between settling Vyom down and preparing for the birthday banquet, time flew by, and it was soon the eve of Raven's birthday.

"We're back!" the cheerful voice of Jules rang out just as Mana and Raven were about to have their evening tea.

"Just in time for yummy food, Dad!" Alya said happily and flew to Jules.

Jules and Bella cuddled with their dragon baby for a bit and then took their seats.

"Big Brother Jules, Big Sister Bella, you are back early," Raven said, greeting them with a smile.

"We can't miss our little Raven's thirteenth birthday now, can we?" Jules said with a wink.

Raven blushed. He had almost forgotten that it was his birthday tomorrow. He was too clever not to notice the subtle signs of King Jaren and Mana preparing for his birthday, but he hadn't expected that Jules and Bella would also come back especially for him. A wave of warmth surged through him.

Jules chuckled and ruffled Raven's dark hair as usual.
