"Congratulations Host you have finished the tutorial and now have a clear path ahead of you. You are no longer the country bumpkin you once were, you now must create your ultimate sect and transform it into the ultimate power of this universe, standing above all else!"
"Okay that's great and all but how do I get out of here? It would be nice to see a blue sky for the first time in... I don't even remember."
Eric shook his head with a wry smile. He couldn't even keep track of how long he'd been in the tutorial, plus he knew that it would take time to eventually build up his sect, so time wasn't something he cared about right now, he only hoped that he could see his sister again, since she's that last remaining family he had.
While Eric was reminiscing with a smile the system was getting ready for Eric's start of the cultivation world.
"Host a suitable body for taking over has been found. Recently deceased and still in good condition for revival and take over. Are you ready Y/N?"
Eric quickly selected YES and was ready to start his journey!!
...
When he came to, Eric was a little dazed. He was quite lucky that he had all of the previous body's memories or else it would've been quite awkward. That was because he had no idea about anything in this world, maps, locations, nothing. He had a treasure trove of knowledge when it comes to battle, sword, spear, and a multitude of other things however he knew nothing when it came to the outside world.
The body Eric was now inhabiting was also named Eric and had the same body type and looks as he did in his past life. It was a doppelgänger!!
The only issue now was the whole dead body part, which has now been solved, but there are bandits currently robbing what seems to be what he was traveling in. A carriage heading for Dragon's Gate city. He was traveling with his master when they were both killed and discarded to the side, not to be thought of again. not that he cared much. He was now at the peak of Body Forging which was quite good considering all of the bandits were only in the middle stages despite being twenty or so years older, likely a subpar technique. Eric was now quite critical of those around him, after all he didn't spend tens of thousands of years to spend on his ass did he? No he spent that time accumulating knowledge which could help him stand on top of the world. However to do that he needed to start off with his first mission which was-
[Host must accept 5 disciples to start the sect!!
Progress: 0/5
Mission rewards: Sect Location, Sect Naming rights]
[The sect will need multiple pillars for it to stand tall! The sect is not one person but multiple people working together to form one powerful entity, host don't forget!]
Reading the new mission prompt Eric raised his brows slightly, not at the requirements for the mission, that was to be expected after all, but what intrigued him was the sect location. He did not know if it would be in a volcano, atop an immortal mountain, or in the frozen dessert, where one must be extremely powerful to travel, but where ever it would be he was excited, for this is the beginning of what he trained for so long for!
Now the only issue was getting out of here. Eric was not some dumb MC who would go on a warpath and stomp some stupid bandits, there were easily over 100 of them and while most of them were weaker than him and he could beat them if he really wanted to he was kinda too lazy to. 'After all why do I have to intrude into your business?' is what was going on in Eric's mind so he silently used an escape technique and got out of there. Plus he just got into this world and didn't want to have blood stained hands just yet. He knew it was going to happen eventually but why does it have to be 2 minutes into his new body?
What you thought he was going to get caught? You poor thing this boy hasn't been training for so long for nothing.
After getting about 3 kilometers away Eric stepped back onto the main road and headed the direction of Dragon Gate City. He was quite excited to see who his disciples were going to be. He knew his current situation and knowing that he didn't have much money or anything else he was going to find some disciples from some orphans who hadn't had a chance at cultivating yet. Even though he was going to pick from orphans and street rats though, he wasn't going to pick up trash. One of the trainings he went through was how to pick talents. He even made a skill that he could test on those to choose from called [Discerning of a Thousand Blessings] Where one can see the other party's cultivation talent, and their fortune which was quite cool in Eric's mind, after all who wouldn't want to know if they've got luck on their side?
Eric was happily in his thoughts while going down the road that he didn't notice a pursuer, actually he did notice it but he didn't care because it was just a weakling without any cultivation. A lone bandit who thought he was going to be lucky, how unfortunate for him he was sorely mistaken.
As to how this poor pitiful soul became a bandit in the first place? Definitely not because of his
smarts because he decided to attack the most powerful man at his level in the entire world, literally he was unparalleled in all arts, for the training done in the "White Space" had traveled over to the body in the Mortal realm.
After thinking for a moment, Eric decided to toy with the lone bandit for a minute before speeding up to the city.
"S'cuse me Mr. bandit it's not nice to rob people y'know. Someone could really get hurt and we don't want that." Eric didn't hold back in the mockery, though his tone conveyed otherwise. After all he didn't care at all about the bandit, after all he was trying to rob him. Now Eric wasn't one to "pay back kindness with one hundred fold kindness or evil with a hundred times evil" but he definitely wasn't a pushover. I mean any sane transmigrator had their own pride. It was done for a reason after all.
Not long afterwards the bandit was but a bloody pulp on the side of the road and Eric was walking on his merry way to Dragon Gate City.
