This is a list of the following characters in the story who have some kind of significant impact on the story, or in case you readers forget about certain character details and need a re-fresher.
I thought I would put this in the "anime and comics" category since I want this story to get more attention, plus it also focuses more on the Danganronpa anime aspects than that of the games.
Hiroshi Tanimoto - You might already know him as the protagonist of Danganronpa: Bloody Rampage. Reserve Course survivor. Male. Since a young age, it's been Hiroshi's dream to go to Hope's Peak Academy. He's fine with being in the Reserve Course, but he's also wanted to hopefully get into the Main Course, too. His parents ensured him to go to the Reserve Course so he would get the proper education he needed to be successful in life. In his time there, Hiroshi made friends with Kenzo, Asahi, and ______ (censored due to spoilers). He doesn't like the Parada movement, mostly because of how much hatred it's caused among everyone else around him. He has dark brown, messy hair, and jade eyes, at 5 foot 11''.
Kenzo - Reserve Course Survivor. Male. He's Hiroshi's best friend. He's a bit of a Casanova type. He usually tries to impress or joke around with the more attractive girls. He's got neatly trimmed blond hair, a sharp chin and hazelnut colored eyes. He seems to be a bit more carefree about the Parade situation, and would prefer to take a break from the madness instead of becoming a part of it. He's pretty much tolerant of Hiroshi's frustration and Asahi's temporary arguing.
Asahi - Reserve Course Survivor. Male. He doesn't hang around people too often. He's focused on schoolwork and athletic abilities in his free time. He also has somewhat of a temper, and can get a bit semi-violent if aggravated enough. He's very passionate about the Parade. He wants to join in with the protests against Hope's Peak because he wants to fight for the equal treatment of the Reserve Course. He hates the higher-ups of Hope's Peak for treating them as a source of income. He has very curly, thick black hair, with orange eyes, and several freckles across his face.
Taro - A Main Course student survivor. Male. Technically does not have an ultimate talent despite being a Main Course student (he proved to be the best in TWO academic fields). Member of the 76th Hope's Peak Main Course Class. When the attack on the school happens, he and Kira and some others are surprised since they were the few who weren't brainwashed. Taro's a bit more athletic and strong than most Reserve Course students, which allows him to be somewhat of a good fighter. Despite his lack of hand-to-hand combat, his strength and good reflexes allows him to dodge attacks and take down opponents. His main appearance is a semi-bulky body type, with thick, neatly-combed black hair with aquamarine eyes.
Kira - A Reserve Course survivor. Female. Unlike many other Reserve Course students, Kira wasn't subjected to Mitarai's brainwashing videos used to take control over most of the Reserve Course. She's not the strongest, but she is quick and witty. Despite her hand injury, she can still be a valuable person to have by your side in The Tragedy. She is not as vengeful or aggressive as Taro or Mori is, (We'll get to Mori later) so she has a hard time accepting the vast destruction happening in the world. She has raven-like straight down, long black hair, and darkly tanned skin. She also got her right hand sawed off, but she isn't entirely a liability.
The Masked Man - Unknown identity. Wears a Monokuma-like mask, bomb-like suit, and carries around a series of weapons, including a pistol. Member of Ultimate Despair, carrying out his mission.
Oye (DECEASED) - Reserve Course rioter. Red-haired buzz cut, sharp jawline. Oye was focused on tearing down the corrupt society and establishing a new order by killing all of the rich and talented to bring about a better world. When trying to execute Kira, Taro challenged him to a fight. Oye probably would've killed Taro if Kira hadn't shot Oye through the chest and through the skull.
