Chapter 43

“My car,” I answer him with a huff.

Without another word, he begins going in the direction of the parking lot. We walk the whole way with both of us fuming in silence. When we reach my car, he opens the back door and lays Colton out on the seat before closing the door and getting into the passenger seat before I can pull away.

“What the hell do you think you’re doing?” I ask him sharply.

“I’m taking him to the hospital. Someone can come out and get him,” I snap, too furious to be intimidated by him right now.

“He doesn’t need a hospital. I didn’t break anything but his nose. You can take him home,” he tells me, waving away my concerns.

“I can’t take him to his house like this.”

“I don’t give a fuck where you take the piece of shit. Let’s just get this done.”
