Chapter 94

I wake up to the sound of my bedroom door being pushed open and hitting the wall. I rub my eyes and see Ashford squinting.

“What the fuck?” he grumbles then sits up and I see when his eyes land on the source and harden.

I sit up and glare at Riley, my head throbbing like hell. He looks back and forth between Ashford and me, questions and hurt displayed in his eyes.

“Do you have to wake me up at the crack of dawn every morning?” I groan.

“It’s not early and I wasn’t expecting you to have company.” I look over at Ashford and see him standing, pulling his diner shirt on. Riley walks over and joins me on the bed, handing me a cup of coffee as he whispers, “I could have stayed.”

“I wasn’t planning for him to stay. Thanks for the coffee. My head is killing me.”

“I figured you could use it if you were still in bed at noon.”

“Wait, noon? You both have to go. I’m late.”

“Late for what?”
