Natalie had always been a fairly happy girl with a life that she was content with. At least until six months ago when her lifelong best friend, with who she had shared everything with up until that point, suddenly decided that they needed to end their friendship with no warning. The life that she had known and loved shattered around her, taking her with it.  I arrive at the warehouse separately and later than Rex and Mia. When I spot Rex, he’s arguing with Vito with a vehemence I‘ve never seen in him before. I’m moving through the crowd as quickly as I can, making my way to Rex with a sense of dread- the same sense I felt the day Bones died- freezing my blood when Mia’s yell rings in my ears. I look around and find her elbowing a guy’s face that’s being handsy with her. 


 Gritting my teeth, I shove more people aside. Mia jumps in front of me and it takes everything in me not to knock her aside. I‘ll be damned if I watch another friend die. 


 “Rex is arguing with Vito because of me, Reaper. I tried telling you earlier, outside of the mall before you ran me off. I’m fighting tonight. Vito put me in.”
