Chapter 15: Surprise

I approached Greige's driver. He immediately noticed my presence so he was shocked. He immediately hid the cellphone that he had been fiddling with.

"Ma'am Athena, why aren't you getting dressed yet?" He asked. "Sir Greige is sending me to you."

"Why?" I have a curious question. "I don't know but he said I need you to assist." His unsure answer. I would have asked more questions but I decided not to.

"All right. I'll just take a shower." I replied.

"You can take your time, Ma'am." Smiling before deciding to leave him for awhile.

I still can't get out of my mind of what Kolokoy's plan again? After more than thirty-minutes of preparation, I immediately left the mansion. I wore a colored peach dress that was knee length. I just put simple make-up on the face. Pink lipstick is supposing to be used because that really Athena wants. Laying the foundation made a difference. Whatever. It won't even notice me. Greige is not into cosmetics like make ups.

"You're so beautiful, Ma'am." Kuya driver complimented me and I just smiled at him back then he let me enter into Greige's car. It was a fifteen-minute to get somewhere. I saw the driver entering inside the building. I just followed him until I heard someone play a familiar music.

Accoring To my memory it was “When You Say Nothing All”, is the title. Later, I also heard a voice accompanying the song.

The man I love is singing to me. I just kept walking until the owner of that voice approached and appeared in front of me as uttering the lyrics of the song.

The smile on your face let me know that you need me

When you say nothing at all I was even more inlove with her voice.

I could really feel the lyrics Greige was reciting. My heart was beating faster when I saw him on a stage staring at me.

After the music have been played, he immediately spoke, "I love you so much, Athena Zerene. You are my everything. You're only my precious woman I will treasure in the rest of my life." He said, a reason for me to blush. "Even though we fight often, my feelings for you will not change. You're still what my heart is searching for." He walked closer me.

"Only heaven knows how much I crazy inlove with you." I also told him how I really felt. I know it's forbidden but let myself feel it for a moment, even in this way that I will be happy. I just pretend I can feel his love for me. It hurts but I can handle and I will still be happy now. I will just make the most of the days I have with him and see him. The time will come that I return to the old life I am before. He is also returning back to the woman who also loves him, my twin Athena Zerene.

"Why are you crying?" He immediately covered the lower part of my eyes with tissue.

"I'm just happy." I lied because it will never be as happy as before. “I am happy to have you in my life. "My tears dripped again but he immediately wiped them away." I didn't expect this to happen most especially of what happened .... "

There was nothing to say when he interjected, "Sshhh, forget it. It's already in the past. Let's focus on that for now." he said as holding my hand. "It can't allow us not to get along. I can't stand that you're still far from me, mi cielo."

After that drama, he invited me to eat because I hadn't eaten breakfast yet. So, he immediately gave me a lot of food. "Eat well, mi cielo." he stated with a smile on his face.

While we were eating, he staring at me so I couldn't eat properly.

"Do i have dirt in my face?" I immediately asked him.

"No. Does it look bad?" He asked me again so it sighed me while focusing to what I am eating.

Afterwards, the music suddenly changed into one of the Daniel Padilla's songs, "Sabay Natin".

He invited me to dance so I didn't hesitate to cling to him. Violin became the background of the song.

"That was one of the songs I sang during my High School Life." As he narrating me the story of his teenage days.

"Do you like it?" I nodded quickly in response.

"I'm also very familiar with the song." I said so he stared straight at me. "Daniel Padilla who sang the song."

"I don't know that you also knew different songs. I didn't even know you were a music lover. You just didn't mention it to me before." I'm really a music lover but Athena isn't. She prefers fashion trends like Mom.

We talked a lot while dancing so there was a time I stepped on his shoes. I'm so focused on the conversation of us which can't notice my steps anymore.

At three o'clock in the afternoon, we decided to go home. Greige drove me all the way inside the mansion. I was about to open the bedroom when he had something more to say.

"I love you, mi cielo." Then, he kissed me on the cheek which my face turned into red. "Keep safe." He walked away after that.

I was still a bit stunned of what happened. It’s not his first time with me but I think it seems like that. I dressed for home when Gin suddenly called me.

I immediately saw her face on the screen of my phone.

Gin: Good evening, bez.

Me: Good evening, too. We didn't talk for a long time either.

Gin: I'm busy because Ma'am Crystal put me here a lot of stuffs. Wait, where have you been? (She observed me of what my looks)

Me: He invited me to date with Greige again. (She stunned of what I said)

Gin: Really? (I just nodded seriously. I want to tell her the truth about my feelings for him)

Me: Bez, I have something to tell you.

Gin: Hey, don't tell me you're pregnant. (I scold her)

Me: It's not just like that.

Gin: Kidding. Aren't you joking now?

Me: I love him, too.

Gin: Is it Zen?

Me: No, it's Greige.

Gin: OMG. Why?

Me: I suddenly felt like I wasn’t aware of it.

Gin: How's Zen?

Me: I don't know, bez. I don't want to hurt him but this is what is happening.

Gin: That's hard but I am here for you.

Me: I just wanted to keep this a secret. There's no anyone can tell about this but only you.

Gin: Your secrets are safe with me. You are my friend, Cas. You trusted me, right. No one else can know about it. I will promise that. I don't blame you. The things you went through are not a joke either.

Me: I will say this to Greige someday.

Gin: How about Zen?

Me: I’ll go back to him and we’ll start again a new life. I will force myself to return my love for Zen as before.

Gin: Hopefully, Bez. You know how I much voted to both of you.

I saw the time in the watch I was wearing and it was already ten o'clock in the evening.

Me: Alright bez. I have to say good night now. Talk to you next time. I'm so tired. I need to rest.

Gin: All right, Cas. You may now sleep. See you.

After our conversation I put my cellphone from the cabinet. I was feeling sick and tired so it was almost lazy to get up to leave my room Time flies so fast that I don't even realize it's late night. I need to rest my body and sleep. So, I turned off the light and only the lampshade which provided me a light throughout my room.
