My eyes were tightly closed waiting for the hit..i clutched my stomach to protect my pup.. Wait I can't get attached to this pup.. My wolf felt saddened by that but didn't say anything... Waiting and waiting but nothing happened... Opening my eyes slowly, I was met with the very naked sight of my mate as he gazed at me with concern... 


Still in shock I didn't know when he took me into his arms muttering soft apologies .. I could still feel the spark and I was so close to melting in his arms when Derek clear his throat.. 


Coming back to my senses I pushed away from him... " what's wrong Jared ? You almost killed us" my voice cracked still in shock.. Jared had a frown in his face " I would never hurt you... You are my mate" he said looking at me sadly.
