Chapter 34

„I want to talk to her."

„It won't be possible that way, no one can follow her."

„But why?"

„Because she starts saying strange things, and that's why only some of the maids who give her food can join her."

„Okay, I understand," I told her, but in my mind I thought I'd visit her one day, even secretly.

„You should be asleep, it's almost ten o'clock," she got out of bed and walked to the door.

„Good night," she smiled and was gone.

I stared out the window for a moment as the moon hid behind the clouds.

I got out of bed and walked slowly to the door. I opened them a little and looked in the hallway to see if anyone else was there.

At the end of the hall, as usual, a small light shone, scaring me from that awkward moment.

I stepped into the hallway with one foot and looked to the sides again. I didn't see anyone, so I closed the door behind me and found myself in the hallway, in the dark hallway, where at the end a small light on the road shone.
