Trouble in Russia part IV

On the penultimate floor, the guys were walking down a large hall until they saw a giant space by the end of the hall. They walked towards it and once there, they saw a figure dressed in a dark cloak, and on its right hand, it had a scythe with an x on its blade. The cloaked figure moved a bit his head towards the right and started speaking to the guys who stopped walking…

?: "I was expecting you all."

Eiji: "Who the hell are you?"

?: "You can call me Verel."

Ryuu: "I see that you're here to kill us."

Verel: "Precisely, but I want to know something first. "

Lix: "What exactly?"

Verel: "What is your aim?"

Eiji: "Isn't obvious!! We're trying to save Russia from this madness!"

Verel: "I mean your true aim? What will you do, son of Mala?"

He was referring to Lix when he said that and once Ryuu heard that; he sent a sword beam made of fire towards Verel who dodged it and appeared once more in front of them…

Verel: "I see you recognize that name, hahaha, what a surprise."

Ryuu: "Seems that you're an ignorant bastard."

Verel: " I'll take that as a compliment."

Lix: "I guess you're one of her lackeys, or am I wrong?"

Verel: "You're right. I'm one of her subordinates, and I'm the one responsible for all of this."

Dimitry: "You bloody bastard!! You'll pay for this, all of it!!"

Once he said that, Dimitry started running towards Verel with his great sword in hand. Verel looked at Dimitry with a malevolent smile on his face. Once he was close enough, Dimitry tried to land a strike on Verel, but he blocked the attack and started speaking to Dimitry while still having the malevolent smile on his face…

Verel: "I see I hit the spot."

Dimitry: "Shut up, you bastard!"

Verel then pushed away Dimitry with a kick to his stomach. After this, he looked at the others while still having the malevolent smile on his face…

Verel: "Allow me to reveal my true self."

He took off his hood and revealed his face. He had dark blue skin, yellow eyes, and pointy ears. He also had white long hair with silver ends. He was wearing a black leather trench coat with a dark gray shirt underneath it. He was also wearing black tactical pants and white shoes. The group was amazed by what they saw, all except Ryuu. Eiji and Lix then summoned their weapons and prepared themselves. Meanwhile, Dimitry prepared himself to attack while not taking off his sight of Verel. Verel swung his scythe horizontally and sent an arc of ice directly towards the group. After seeing that the arc of ice was approaching, they all evaded it and remained prepared just to analyze Verel's movements. Seeing this, Verel teleported himself in front of the group and tried to attack Lix first, but he blocked the attack and pushed Verel away from him. Just by seeing this opportunity, Eiji went on and started attacking Verel, but with each attack that he threw at him, Verel blocks it.

At one point, Eiji tried to impale Verel with his sword, but he moved away from the attack and did a slight cut in Eiji's left hand, making him scream in pain. Lix seeing what just happened, went towards Verel and tried to land a horizontal attack which make Verel react to it by moving away but what he didn't take into consideration was the fact that Lix change the direction of the hit as fast as Verel couldn't see it giving him a direct hit on his right arm and part of the stomach making Verel cry in pain. Verel swung his scythe back at Lix but it was too late considering that Lix move away from him on time. Eiji then saw the opportunity and went towards Verel once more. He swoung his weapon and went for a hit to the left arm which it landed and Verel's left arm was separated from him. Then Verel looked at the group with a dark expression. Seconds later, a dark aura envelope Verel, making the group to back off a little. While the aura was still coming out of his body, he started speaking to the group.

Verel: " This is where the fun starts. Come on, Son of Mala. Show me what you got!!!"
