And who ruled over them was The Demon King. Kagutsuchi.

After living for 10,000 years, watching the civilization he built rise and fall, he decided to end his never-ending life, destroying demons and magic forever.

3,000 YEARS LATER

The Demon King reincarnates in a world without any knowledge of magic, let alone him. Where he was once the ruler of the world; now he was a simple working-class human. That's what they thought. In truth, he had kept all his overwhelming power that outweighed that of the gods. 

Now, this was a new era for him to destroy.

A New Era To Destroy

For the first time in his life, Kagutsuchi felt fear. His father was the origin of this alien feeling. Kagutsuchi knew it then. He knew that his father would never forgive him. He also knew that his father could kill him with just a glance his way.


'Damn this body. Like seriously, why does it have to be so weak? Even my origin couldn't fix this body.' Ren Geis mumbled to himself. 'Ah, Kagutuschi!'


He raised his voice and started talking to Kagutsuchi.


'It's been a while, hasn't it? Thought I was dead? You couldn't have possibly thought I wouldn't want to kill you. Like, come on, I would kill you multiple times every day just for my satisfaction. In fact, I already told you that once, didn't I?'


He spoke in a jovial tone that contradicted his hurtful words.


Kagutsuchi's face bore a sad smile after hearing those words.


'I guess you never once cared about me after all.' He whispered under his breath.


'What was that?' Ren Geis asked. He hadn't heard what Kagutsuchi had said.


'Nothing. Are you just here to talk?' Kagutsuchi asked a question of his own.


Ren Geis started grinning. He created a Magic circle.


'Relide.' He teleported to Ren Geis's exact location so that his origin was in the same place that Ren Geis's was.


'Clever.' Ren Geis remarked. 'But not clever enough! Relide!' He used Relide without a Magic circle and teleported behind Kagutsuchi. He tried stabbing him in the origin but stopped. In fact, everything stopped. 


He used his control over time from the God Of Time to stop time. But by using it and restarting time, he would lose his control over time, making there be no God or man with control over time, meaning that time would go berserk. Now, time loops could happen, time could go back instead of forward and so on. 


But Kagutsuchi didn't care. He just wanted to eliminate his father. The one origin of all of his hatred. The Demon King was just a facade. A facade that Kagutsuchi hid under in holes of escaping reality. He didn't want to believe that Ren Geis would actually do something like that, so he tricked himself into thinking that it was due to him destroying everything and becoming the Demon King. But eventually, this attempt at escaping reality only ended in him becoming the thing that had fabricated.
