Chapter-34: Aftermath and Time skip

(MC POV)

After the fight was over, I moved towards Naruto and absorbed Kyuubi chakra in the surrounding and immediately left.

I went inside my Kamui dimension and immediately started to experiment on it.

I wanted to know what was the difference between normal chakra and Tailed beast chakra.

After A few experiments, I came to conclusion.

Tailed beast chakra has 2 things that make it way better than normal chakra.

First is potency.

It is incredibly potent compared to normal chakra. Even Hagoromo's chakra doesn't have as much potency as it does but it is extremely unstable and hence may damage the body overtime if the vessel chosen for the tailed beast is of bad quality.

Naruto is lucky. The chakra helps him heal his body and my training further improved this.

Second is will.

It carries the will of madness and hence gives even more violent results however it also gives it even more unstability.

If chakra is a normal matchstick then tailed beast chakra is like a wet fuse.

It is harder to use as well as control tailed beast chakra but once you do, it will give rather amazing results.

I exited my Kamui dimension and arrived to my office now.

I dispelled the shadow clone that I used to do the paperwork while I was out.

Looks like I need to start teaching and provide more resources to Naruto now.

Well, No one can oppose my decision so I really don't care.

I went to my house and took a long bath to refresh myself.

After an hour, I was notified that the team came back.

I wore my Hokage uniform and went to office for the report.

Kiba, Neji, Choji, Rock lee and Naruto were currently sitting in my office.

Seems like everyone was really tired.

"Hokage-sama, the mission failed. An unknown variable assisted the enemy and hence Uchiha Sasuke's defection was easier. All this was done on his own accord." Shikamaru said as medic was healing his injuries.

"Is that so...It seems he went blind in front of power. I didn't expect this from him...Anyway, I will deal with this later. It needs more attention. Rock lee, Naruto and Shikamaru are hereby promoted to chunnins." I said.

They were extremely shocked.

Who gets promoted on a failed task? No one!

"Don't be so shocked. These are the results of the chunnin exams. I would've promoted you either way. Take you flak jacket from the office tomorrow. Anyway, I think you should check on Sakura. She was the first in trying to stop Sasuke. Sasuke used a strong genjutsu on her and she is currently in hospital. I wiped away the memories of the jutsu but the impact is still very large and she will need about 3 weeks to recover. Everyone except Naruto, please leave." I said.

They were still very shocked from the promotion news and even more after Sakura being in hospital.

All of them left except Naruto.

"I think you are a little angry that I stopped you but Naruto...It's about time you get to know about yourself." I said.

"What exactly are you going to tell me?" Naruto asked curiously.

"From your promotion to a chunnin, I think it's time you know about your parents and your inheritance." I said.

"Who exactly are parents? Didn't Grandpa 3rd said that they were really strong ninja?" He asked.

"Well...Did you ever think why do you looks so similar to fourth Hokage?" I asked.

"Well I did think he was my father once...wait-" He tried saying but I cut him off.

"Fourth Hokage and the previous jinchuriki, Kushina Uzumaki. You are their son. On 10th October, 3rd Hokage hid you away to protect you from enemies of the Fourth Hokage. Anyway, now that is done, it's time for better part. Inheritance." I said.

"Wait-" He tried to say something but I cut him off yet again.

"Your inheritance includes about a 75 million ryo, the current house you have and that's it. Other stuff was destroyed in Kyuubi massacre. I will transfer them to you in a day or two. Are you fine with this?"

"No-" He tried saying but I cut him off again.

"You're okay with it right? Okay. Noted. Now, get out. Don't bother me for some time. I need time to deal with all this mess." I said.

He didn't say much and left.

It must've been quite shocking for him but I don't care.

Use your Naruto style: I recover from most trauma no jutsu and get stronger.

Better ninjas are always appreciated.

I also need to look super sad so that no one gets suspicious.

(Naruto POV)

"Fourth Hokage and the previous jinchuriki, Kushina Uzumaki. You are their son. On 10th October, 3rd Hokage hid you away to protect you from enemies of the Fourth Hokage. Anyway, now that is done, it's time for better part. Inheritance." Kazuya-sensei said.

My father was 4th Hokage...?

Who knew this would happen?

I was actually his son?

I need some time to digest this.

Why was I ostracized by village....why did everyone hate me so much?

I wanted to know...

"Wait-"

"Your inheritance includes about a 75 million ryo, the current house you have and that's it. Other stuff was destroyed in Kyuubi massacre. I will transfer them to you in a day or two. Are you fine with this?"

No-" I tried saying but he cut me off again.

"You're okay with it right? Okay. Noted. Now, get out. Don't bother me for some time. I need time to deal with all this mess." He said.

I didn't say much but just left.

It seems that Kazuya-sensei is quite stressed.

He never had such circumstances.

It must be really harsh to lose everything.

I never had anything in the first place but he...

He lost his family and saw them being massacred over and over again.

He lost his brothers, the only ones he truly would care for.

He stood up against everything to become what he is today...

What should I do to help him?

I will need to think about it.

Wait what about Sakura-chan?

I completely forgot about her! SH*T!

I rushed towards the Konoha Hospital and asked the nurse about the room she was in.

She gave me the room number and said, "Please don't enter without permission. Her condition is really bad and she will need some time."

I rushed towards the room now.

The Genin rescue team was currently talking to Tsunade-baa-san.

I arrived and started to hear what she said, " Her condition is still bad as the trauma isn't completely gone, even after the memories about it were wiped away completely. She will still need some time to recover. I need to attend to other important matters so excuse me."

She then walked away with a report in her hand.

I saw Sakura in the room now.

She was sitting on the bed but looked...strange.

She had big dark circles under her eyes, her eyes didn't have the glow, her skin was very unhealthy and she was just staring at the floor.

I wanted to go inside to comfort her, I wanted to bring back Sasuke so that she will not suffer like this...

I hated this.

Why...Why would this happen?

Why Sasuke?

(3rd POV)

The following year was followed by training only.

Naruto Uzumaki trained relentlessly under Kazuya Uchiha with help of Yamato and 1st Hokage's Necklace that was borrowed from Tsunade.

Sasuke Uchiha trained relentlessly under Orochimaru.

Sakura recovered after 3 weeks and started her training with Hinata under Tsunade.

Jiraiya started to expand his spy network and took in Sai his protégé after seeing his potential.

Kakashi started to go on even more missions and started to track Uchiha Sasuke's movements with help of Jiraiya.

Everything was going slowly this year.

Kazuya also got over his 'depression'.

Gaara also became a chunin and later Kazekage.

Akatsuki was still didn't start collecting the tailed beast currently.

They were still working odd jobs for other nations

Everyone was knowingly or unknowingly preparing for the storm that brewed in the future.

What will happen now?
