Prologue 2

16 years later

Daniel grew up to be a handsome young man. He is humble, kind and willing to help people; no matter is to build a hut or just look after the young kids around the pack house. He has a best friend name Charles. Charles is an orphan whom Samuel rescued during hunting in faraway land when he is 5 years old. Daniel was the and only one who look after Charles and who play with him because he has bad temper and easily provoke. No one dares to play with him except for Daniel. At first, Daniel always got beaten by Charles in various events because Daniel tried to play with him and shared his toys with him. Sooner or later, Charles understood and realized that Daniel just wanted to be friend with him and care for him. No one ever cares for him so he finally opens up and became best friend to Daniel since then.

One day when both boys are playing at nearby garden, they heard someone singing and tend to go finds out who is it. Both are surprised and shocked to see an angel singing and running around with her best friend. Both of them are mesmerized by her voice and face and fell in love with her at first sight. Little did they know that she is the only daughter of Samuel and her name is Marie. Soon Daniel, Charles, Marie and Annie were close friend and start to play together. When they grow older, Marie starting to like Daniel and so is he. Daniel gets to know that he is mated to Marie after his 18th birthday and he is very happy about that but since female wolf only be able to know who's their mate was when they reach 21. So Daniel promised and told Marie that he willing to wait for her until she is 21 before he proposed to her.

Since Charles is not mated to Marie, he became very jealous and angry of Daniel when he accidentally heard Marie talking to her best friend; Annie one day in the flower garden that she is Daniel's mate. More anger built up when Samuel announced that the one whom get to hand in the marriage of her daughter will be the next Alpha of Red Moon Pack. As Charles is not as kind hearted as Daniel, he always tried to push Daniel into deep shit; whether fighting those rogue wolves or defending the pack house when rogue attacked. Charles trying to make out stories about how Daniel tries to woo and sleep with every female wolf in the pack BUT due to the good reputation Daniel had since young, neither Marie nor Samuel believed what Charles said. He then started to plan his way to make Marie his by putting drugs into Marie's daily drinking water prepared by Annie. Daniel noticed Charles being secretive and was up around dawn one day. So he decided to follow him as he walked slowly and hiding in between walls towards the kitchen where the maids are preparing food while Emma is refilling Marie's drinking water.

Emma is Marie's personal care taker. He then throw something outside the yard to distract everyone away from the kitchen then drops something into Marie's drinking water and run away from the kitchen. The drug dissolves into the water within seconds. Daniel quickly took jug of the water and bring it to the pack doctor for testing and found out that it contain some kind of drug to make a person drowsy and will forgot what happen the day after. At first he don't believed Charles will do that to Marie but based on what Emma observed for the past few days that Charles always ask around the kitchen helper and herself what time they will starts to prepare early breakfast and when Emma will be refilling Marie's water jug daily. Daniel finally believed and he felt disappointed and angry towards Charles. Daniel then approached Charles on the allegations but Charles denied these allegations/rumors and trying to put the blame on Daniel that Daniel whom is the one who tried to drug Marie instead of him. When Samuel found out the whole story, he felt disappointed and sad. As an alpha and there are rules in each pack and he had no choice to banish Charles out from the Red Moon Pack and barred him from stepping a foot back to their territory; if it ever happens, death will be the penalty.

Once Marie reached 21 years of age, she is very happy and thanks the Moon Goddess for making Daniel her mate. Soon the two got married. After married for one year, Marie gave birth to a daughter. They named her Ash and gave her a pendant with her name on. She is pretty, flawless, cute and everyone loves her and she is special; she is born intersex. Although she is born special, Daniel and Marie never mistreated or abandon their daughter but gave as much love as they can because every birth is a blessing from the Moon Goddess. At the age of one, Ash can crawled around the pack house, do baby talked and able to understand the face expression on people; when someone is sad she will cries, when someone is afraid she will coo him/her, when someone is happy she will laugh. Everyone is fascinated by how wonderful Ash is and when she is two year old, she can run, climb trees and jumping around from trees to trees. Ash mother later give birth to a boy and named him Benji when Ash is 3 years old. By the age of 5, she can catch a small deer by herself and managed to run as fast as an adult wolf. Although Ash is a girl but she doesn't like to wear dresses and skirts. She likes to make friends with the boys and do boy stuff rather than being with girls around her age playing girly stuff. From that moment, Marie knew her daughter is indeed special and different.

One afternoon when Ash is playing around with Samson (son of their Matt Anderson) and Benji, suddenly she sensed danger and her eyes starts to change to yellow color. Within seconds, three rogue wolves appeared from far end of the forest. Within seconds, those rogue wolves' starts to run and chased after three of them. Is a miracle and surprised that Daniel felt mind-link from Ash calling for help. Daniel and Matt then heard the news of rogue wolves are within the territory plus chasing after the kids. Ash asked Samson to carry his little brother and run as fast as he can back to the pack house while she tried to fight those rogue wolves. Even at the age of 5 years old, Ash can really kicked ass and managed to stop one of the rogue wolf by kicking him on the abdomen and the kick sent him towards the tree but one of them managed to injured her with a huge scratched at her abdomen and bitten her on her left thigh. As three of them are still fighting and jumping from trees to trees, she fell off the cliff when she tried to jump across a big tree to cross over a river due to the intense pain and blood lost. That was the last time everyone saw Ash and. In the end, Samson managed to get Benji back to the pack house while Daniel and Matt managed to kill those rogue wolves and finds out that those rogue wolves are a group of rogue lead by his best friend; Charles. Marie got too distress and fainted when she found out that Ash is not with Samson and Benji.

Daniel instructed everyone from his pack to search high and low for little Ash but failed and due to the attacked from Charles pack, they have to stop the search and moved the pack to other place in order to gain more forces and troops to assist him to fight and revenged for his elder daughter. After three years of war, Daniel managed to brush off Charles rogue pack to another end of England and make sure he will not be able to set a foot back to Red Moon Pack territory again. Because of one act of kindness, everything changes in just two years; never he knew that one of his member whom he previously saved is from the rogue pack and a disguised from Henry's pack and he managed to drug most of Daniel's loyal and strong guards and member. This crippled Daniel's defend drastically. This is how Charles and his group of rogue wolves managed to sweep the Red Pack Moon; killed every one of the pack members, force Daniel, his wife, his son and his beta and his family hiding around in the dark somewhere in Netherlands.

At the other side of England, Michael managed to track down Daniel and his family because the news of what happened to Red Moon Pack; one of the biggest wolf pack in England was attacked and swept clean by Rogue. This news caused big commotion among Elders in the Royal Kingdom; some thinks that Daniel is not a good leader that is why he failed the previous alpha; Samuel and wanted to banish him away because he causes shamed among the wolf kingdom. Some thinks that there is a traitor within the pack which assisted the rogue else there is no way the rogue managed to clean up such strong wolf pack easily. Michael finally found out the truth behind; it is all due to his old friend's plan to sweep off the Royal blood from the Kingdom so he can persuades the Elders to put him in charge of the Kingdom. Michael has not informed the Elder's that he managed to find Maximus's son, Daniel and his family.

He just wanted to make sure Daniel and family are safe and they lived somewhere away from the kingdom and under his protection. Michael broke the news to Daniel that he was the last descendant of the Royal Blue Crescent Moon Pack of England. At first he didn't believe but after telling him about the royal crescent tattoo at the nape of the neck which only appear to those with royal blood then when Michael shows him some old wolf history books of the tattoo and it matches the tattoo at his neck, and finally believed. Michael also told him about the history between his father and Henry; Alpha of Knight Moon Pack and what happened between few of them. Due to some doubt about two among three of the Elders, Michael informed Daniel that he can't disclosed the news about him to the Elders until he managed to find out the traitor within the Kingdom and is safe for him to return.

While Michael and Daniel are having some reunion and family dinner together, little Ash got saved by a bishop; Danny at a church downs the stream. He saw something floating nearby some big rocks and when he got nearer and realized a little girl whom still breathing but is unconscious and with some injuries at her abdomen and thigh. He brought her back home to attend on her injuries. Due to some concussion on her head, she forgot who she was and where she came from but since she has a necklace with the name Ash on it, Danny named her Ash. She had been with Danny since then. When she grew older, she changed her name to Ash Bishop to honor Danny after his death due to old age when Ash is 16 years old. Ash managed to attend high school and since she liked to help people by sometimes catching pick pockets nearby her neighborhood and also small markets, she decided to join the police force and graduated the age of 18 and got promoted to become the youngest inspector at the age of 20.
