"Already I checked on her. She just fainted due to the shock. Nothing to be worried"

"Papa Ning, are you sure?"

"Qing Ze, don't worry. She's alright"

"It's Bai Ling who scared her"

"Ning Xuan, did you forgot how you poked at her?"

"You two stop behaving like a kids"

Catherine heard voices around her. She was already awaken but too scared to open her eyes.

Catherine was more shocked to know that currently she was in her neighboring country looking ten years younger. She was in 2009 not in 2021.

What if she really transmigrated to another country? Catherine really don't know anyone here. Will they believe her if she says that she was transmigrated from another country?

Who would have believe the words of sixteen years old girl?

'What should I do? I think until I find the solution I have to pretend that I lost my memories. Right now other than that I don't have any other options'

Catherine slowly opened her eyes. Catherine saw that the people in the room noticed her as they came to her.

"Hey are you okay? Are you feeling any discomfort?" Qing Ze asked Catherine.

Catherine just started blankly at him.

'What are you expecting me to say?'

"Papa, she's awake" Ning Xuan shouted which startled Catherine.

"You're scaring her again" Bai Ling hit her.

"I'm notifying Papa that she's awake. Why are you hitting me" Ning Xuan hit him back.

An middle age man came to the room, "Stop playing. Isn't it enough that you guys ditched doing your homework in the name of taking care of that little girl. Now you both are shouting and fighting"

They both became quite but still making face at each other.

That middle aged guy came to Catherine, "Little girl, what's your name? Tell me your house address I'll take you there"

'If I tell him my name and my address can he really take me there?' Catherine wondered.

"Papa Ning, She already said her address. It's just we couldn't able to find it" Qing Ze said the address to him.

Papa Ning seemed to think something but still his face looked puzzled, "I don't think I have heard the street name or the name of the city" he turned to Catherine, "Little girl, are you sure the address you gave is correct?"

Catherine was keeping her mouth shut afraid that she might spill anything unnecessary.

"Hey are you gone mute? Just a while a ago you were behaving like an elder. Now what happened to you?" Ning Xuan poked her index finger at Catherine, which annoy the latter.

"Xuan, stop it. You're scaring her" Qing Ze pulled her away from Catherine.

"Don't act like you're mute. We heard you clearly how you spoke arrogantly" Bai Ling crossed his arms.

"Little girl, don't get scared. Tell this Uncle. I'll help you"

"I don't know" Catherine voice came like a whisper but she sure they heard her.

"What you don't know?" He asked Catherine gently.

"I don't know who I'm. I don't where I'm from"

What Catherine really wanted to say was, 'I don't know why I'm here. I don't know why I suddenly became sixteen year old girl in my neighbouring country. I don't know what should I do'

The more Catherine thought the more the reality hit her hard. Suddenly Catherine started to cry, "I don't know. I don't know anything"

Everyone startled because of her sudden outburst.

"Hey stop crying. If anyone saw you crying, they might think we are bullying you" Bai Ling took a notebook nearby and started to fanning.

"Here take my chocolate. Don't cry" Ning Xuan gave Catherine her chocolates.

It made Catherine cry a lot, that they're treating her like a four years old.

"Papa Ning, I think she's lost. We should notify the local police. Maybe her family could be searching for her" Qing Ze said to him.

"I'm also thinking the same. Call your father and inform him. She must be hungry let me prepare something for her to eat" Papa Ning went outside of the room.

Qing Ze spoke with someone on his phone. Suddenly he took a photo of Catherine, it seems he was sending her photo to the police.

Catherine blinked and thought, 'But kid don't you think it's bad to take a picture of a girl when she was crying'

Ning Xuan opened the candy wrapper and stuffed it in Catherine's mouth. Catherine wanted to shout at Ning Xuan but the caramel flavor melted in her mouth and prevented Catherine to talk.

'I'll forgive her for stuffing it into my mouth'

"Do you like the taste?" She asked Catherine. Ning Xuan face clearly showed that she was waiting to hear Catherine's answer.

"I like it" Catherine sniffed as she replied to her.

"See I told you caramel taste better. But you didn't believe me" Ning Xuan proudly said it to Bai Ling.

Suddenly Bai Ling ran out and came back in a minute. He quickly unwrapped a candy and stuffed into Catherine's mouth. As soon as the taste entered into Catherine's throat she spat it out, "Ah, it's strawberry"

"Ha ha ha. I told you not everyone like strawberry as you" Ning Xuan rolled on the floor as she laughed.

Catherine looked up to see him. Bai Ling faced darkened by looking at the candy on the floor.

Catherine started to panick, "I like it to eat as a fruit but I don't like the flavor in candy or in ice cream"

"Shut your mouth" Catherine was taken back by his shouting. Unknowingly tears started to fell from her eyes.

"Bai Ling don't be childish. Can't you see you made her cry again?" Qing Ze pushed him away.

"All she know is crying. Other than that she know to act arrogant. I think she's mentally retarded. Maybe that's why her parents abandoned her in the street with fake address. If I know before that she only know to cry and act arrogant I would have never allowed her to enter here"

The room fell into complete silence. What he said was not true but it hurts. Catherine looked down, biting her lips to prevent herself not to cry.

"Bai Ling" QingZe shouted at him, "Go back to your room"

Bai Ling scoffed, "Are you asking me to leave because of this stranger?"

"Don't create anymore problems and leave" Qing Ze dragged him out.

"Not even a day that you stayed here you created a problem between us" Ning Xuan sighed before she left the room to catch up with Bai Ling.

Catherine looked at QingZe. His face acknowledged what Ning Xuan said was right.

"I already notified the police. Once they got to know about your parents they'll come here" with that he left the room.

Catherine stared blankly at the door, 'What has she did to make them like this? He was the one who hurts her with his words but why are they blaming me? I didn't wish to be here either. I just wanted to die or to disappear. God, why are you always doing this to me? Why don't you grant my wish at least for once'
