Have You Seen Her Fight?

'Take it easy,' he reminded himself. 'I don't know if that is Anna's blood.'

And that thought put him at ease. Anna looked like she knew those two men. Maybe they had stolen her things the night he brought her home. He made a note of their scents. But it also made him wonder how they knew she had left the shelter. He hadn't seen them in the shelter, therefore, someone must have notified them that she had left.

The rage built and he knew exactly where to look for the perpetrators.

He transported back to the shelter and walked a few steps around the corner to reach the entrance. He noticed the manager sitting at the front and approached him. The manager looked up and he squinted.

"Sir, what happened?" he looked behind Ladislas and when he didn't see Anna, he frowned.

Ladislas clenched his fist as he reiterated the story.

"She is homeless, you know that obviously," the man said with a look of confusion.
