Don't Sue Us

Pops squinted. "You said something, of course!"

The other guy looked stunned. "Did she complain? She really was in the bathroom for a long time…" he trailed off.

"Women need more time in the bathroom. They have to take care of their hygiene, don't you know? They can get severely sick. She was living on the street for so long, of course, she wants to shower…" Pops explained. He didn't want to scold one person for another. But he also had to ensure everyone was quietly living.

"Why are you so bothered? I didn't tell her anything directly!" he argued. "And she is making so much money now. She is a bartender now. Why does she need to live with us?" he questioned.

Pops shook his head. "I can see why you didn't make it in the world. She still works in the kitchen. She worked at the front a few times because of shortage. Do you think she has enough money to pay a deposit for rent? Or pay for utilities? I only see her eat with us."
