She was already looking at a recipe that needed minimal effort. She could manage not to burn it. Treat it as a science project and she could get a passable taste.

"So, what are you cooking for me tonight, dear?" he smirked, leaning back in the chair on two legs. Anna shot him a glare, causing his smirk to widen.

"I don't appreciate your endearment. I have made myself clear to you." She muttered the first part. He didn't seem to hear.

There were a lot of things she could do, but cooking wasn't something she had tried. Why? It was not part of her survival tools. She could make a meal in the wild if need be, but she wasn't particular about taste. But it couldn't be hard if she followed the recipe to the T. Treat the kitchen as a lab. He watched her curiously as she turned the oven on and gathered all the ingredients. She snapped at him to mind his own business, but he didn't leave.
