The rucksack filled with supplies was flush against her chest while the bag with her usual things was on her back. Sandwiched between two huge bags, she looked into the far distance. The sun was on her head and the heat made the scenery in the distance look sublime. The area was barren because no plants could grow on the rocky terrain. People didn't want to build houses in the middle of the highway with no amenities around, so they were still a distance from the town.

She walked into the perimeter and through the spiked wire fence. The house she usually lived in was rightfully dusty and coated with a layer of bird poop. The area was exposed and birds and lizards slid into the buildings and left droppings and other things everywhere.
