Ladislas shook his head. "This goes against all philosophy. Since the beginning of time, communities have ignored or pushed out people and seen them as non-existent. That doesn't mean you won't be held responsible if the bodies are found."

Anna blinked. "I'm wearing gloves." She raised her hand in front of her face to show him. "My fingerprints are not on any database. I didn't leave any DNA on them and there is nothing linking me to the bodies if they are discovered by some freaky coincidence," she said. 

"You should tone down your confidence. I have seen those profiler television shows." Ladislas leaned against a tree and crossed one foot in front of another.

"There are no genius profilers like you see on those shows," Anna sighed. "Believe me, it is not that easy to be a genius and stay within the bounds of the law. It is easier for us who are outside law to use unlawful methods and find the real truth out," she offered.
