I Don't Say It Enough

"Why, you are only reaping the benefits of the plan you made. You didn't think it would get this bad, right?" Anna questioned.

"Everything would have been fine if you didn't go and kill their leader. How do you think they responded? Like this! You made this happen."

Anna's smile fell. "Putting the blame on an innocent party?" she countered. "You don't even know how to resolve this, don't you? You can't even send a single team in without them being killed in the first ten minutes," she jeered at him.

The silence on the other end was telling.

"What do you want?" he asked. 

"If you don't know already, you are more the fool than I believed you to be."

"You want to help? Why? Someone you know is in there?" he questioned with a hint of glee.

"That is none of your business. I am feeling generous so I can go in. This is solely my decision and you will have no hand in leading me by the nose."

"Then what do you want?"
