First day of the new school term part 2

Rain's pov

When I entered the class first thing I noticed is that my mate was in the same class as me. I was really happy about that since it meant that we get to spend more time together.

Not long after entering the class Mr Adams as I've learned he is called, told us to introduce ourselfs. Erin went first and I went second. When Erin introduced himself I noticed my mate smiled a little but when I introduced myself she blushed a little but then I don't know why all of a sudden she looked a bit sad. I didn't like that but I couldn't just call out to her and asked what's wrong. When we finished with introductions we were told to take our seats and as luck will have it Mr Adams put me right next to my mate, Erin was told to sit next to a girl with short black hair.

Earlier while Erin was introducing himself I noticed he tensed up for a bit, so when we were seated I asked him telepathically why he did since he tensed up even more after taking his seat and he told me that he's pritty sure the girl next to him might be his mate. I was actually surprised but happy since that meant that we both found out mates but I still refrained from telling him that.

After I was done conversing with Erin I turned my eyes toward my mate who again was holding a book. Suddenly I heard her yelling seriously and when Mr Adams asked her what was wrong she gave some excuse of forgetting her book in her locker but honestly I don't think that's what it really was.

Mr Adams went back to talking about his daughter and how adorable she is, how he took her to the beach and she played in the water blah blah blah. I didn't really pay attention to him and was more focused on how I can start a conversation with my mate. I must have stared at her to much since she suddenly turned towards me and I blurted out about what I saw this morning, about the wound on her shoulder and how it disappeared. Oh and that I was her neighbor who moved in on last Friday and again went right back to the wound that disappeared. Say aren't I just great at starting conversations? I could have talked about anything but I just had to start with that and whats more I saw her start to panic. I was just about to try to make the situation better when an overwhelming scent of perfume hit my nose, I mean damn did that person throw the whole damn bottle on themselves or what? I soon learned that the person who's responsible for the burning sensation coursing through my nose was a girl called Sarah. As she was introducing herself to me, she kept on glaring at my mate. Does this girl have a problem with my girl or something? Hey stop glaring at my girl and please just get lost. That's what I thought but didn't say out loud. I couldn't exactly say that out loud since I didn't want to scare my mate off anymore then I already have.

I really wanted this girl Sarah to just go away not only does she reek, glare at my mate but she is actually trying to flirt with me to the the point that's she's leaning on my table exposing her cleavage to me. A little more and I'm pritty sure that they will spill out of her top, I mean couldn't she dress herself properly? Does she think that just about any guy will fall for when she's dressed like that? Sorry but I'm not one of those guys, I don't just fall for anyone, so please just leave already.

As I was trying to show this Sarah that I wasn't interested in her, I heard my mate yell out if she could go home now and without second thought I said for her to take me with her and guess what I wasn't the only one, there were three other voices who joined me in saying that. It was Erin, the girl Erin thinks is his mate and the girl sitting in front of my mate. Then I saw my mate smile and heard her say sure that is if we don't mind getting into trouble with her. Then she stood up, gathered her things and walked out of the classroom. Soon the four of us who wanted to go with her followed after her to the lockers to put away our things and collect what we need. We then followed her behind the school building to where the fence was really low and jump over it. Then we started walking with no direction in mind. As I was wondering where we were going I heard Erin ask where we were heading and we all looked at my mate. She was spacing out a bit when her phone went off. When she looked at it she started to smile, she's really cute when she smiles, was what I thought. She then told us that we're going to the mall. Soon we were on our way to the mall. On our way there we were talking about how the three girls are best of friends and that they have known each other since they were little. As I've learned my mates name is Zelnarine Winters, her friend with the accent is Cleo and Erin's possible mate is Ritha. Ritha was quite the chatterbox I noticed but to be honest it's not to the point of being annoying. Cleo was a nice girl too, she comes off as very mature for her age. Ritha then asked Zelnarine if we should go to Colly's, this little fast-food restaurant that they frequent but she gave no answer. When we looked at her we noticed that she was distracted, so Cleo bumped her elbow to get her attention. Cleo and Ritha apologized on her behalf, saying that she often spaces out. She also apologized for it but I told her it's fine since I too would be distracted if I was in her shoes. I figured she was thinking about what happened this morning seeing as she kept on touching her right shoulder.

I shouldn't have said that seeing as she became I little panicked but then she soon composed herself after noticing her friends looking at her and me. She told them it was nothing but I could see that Cleo wasn't going to let it go and might just ask her about it later.

Soon we got to the mall and then I saw her on her phone again, I thought she got busted and was in trouble so I asked her about it and she said no that it was someone named Luke who she's close with. Now who the hell is Luke I wanted to ask but I didn't want to scare her off anymore than I already have.

We walked a bit and then we got to Colly's. I can see why the girls like it, it's very relaxing here. We then proceeded to the table they usually frequent and a waiter soon came and took our order. We then started to learn more about each other, apparently Ritha is the one we can go to if we ever need any information on just about anything, she is also on good terms with most of our teachers from school. Cleo on the other hand has a liking for arts like Erin. Zelnarine likes reading, mostly horror and mystery, as well as taking walk in the forest, we'll all three of them like the forest it seems since they even have a few hang out spots in it. I told the that I like studying about history and the occult and also taking walks. Erin then told them that I'm also good at cooking, at first I was a bit embarrassed since some people tend to think that men shouldn't enter the kitchen but then I saw Zelnarine smile at me like she was impressed. She even said she would like to taste my cooking sometime and I told her that I'd make her something when says she wants it. Our food then came and we talked some more as we ate. Zelnarine finished eating about the same time as me, so I was going to ask her if she would show me around while the others were still eating, when I was yet again hit by that annoying perfume stench. And then I heard Sarah's voice, she said something about searching for us and that she would show us around the place as well as all the fun spots and more. All while trying to show off her cleavage. I told her it was fine since Zelnarine and the girls were going to show us around. Can't she see that I'm not interested in her I mean it should be obvious after I ignored her back in the classroom, is there something wrong with her eyes? Dammit she's really annoying.

She then dared to belittle my girl, saying she's a weirdo who only reads books. Hey what's wrong with reading books? Even I like reading, is she gonna say I'm a weirdo too for doing that? Then I heard her complain about the way my girl dress. I mean seriously... What's wrong with it? In my eyes the clothes she's wearing fits her perfectly. And just because Sarah dresses up like a slut doesn't mean other girls should as well, could it be that she thinks that all guys will drool over her and want to fuck her?

Well then again I wouldn't mind seeing my girl in something more revealing but it should be only for me to see. Ah Dammit, focus Rain! Keep your focus! Wait hold up, did she just say something about scars? What scars is she talking about? I was curious but I knew now wasn't the best time to ask and right at this moment Zelnarine got up from her seat and told us that she was going to go meet up with Luke. As she was giving her share of the bill to Cleo, I tried to stop her from going saying that I don't know how to get home from the mall. Dammit I admit it I'm a little jealous of this Luke person.

As I was hoping that she wouldn't go Sarah chimed in saying she would show me the way. For crying out loud I've been doing my freaking best trying to show this bitch that I have no interest in her, seriously looks like its not just her eyes that have a problem but also her brain.

As I was about to decline Sarah's offer I felt Zelnarine tap my shoulder, she told me that there's a bookstore on the second floor right in front of the stairs and that when the Four of us, she pointed straight at me, Cleo, Erin and Ritha, and then continued saying that if we're done looking around the mall then I should go find her at the bookstore since that's where she'll be meeting Luke. She then smiled at me and I sighed in relief, I might not have been able to stop her from going but l can easily go to her when I don't want to explore the mall anymore.

As I was thinking this I heard Sarah try to say there is no need for that and that she just said that she'd show me the way but my girl cut her off saying that there is a need. And then she gave it to Sarah straight by saying that just because some guys drool over Sarah doesn't mean all guys will be doing it, and just because Sarah dresses like a slut does not mean all guys will want to follow her around much less Fuck her... I was screaming in my head helluja preach it sista preach tell it to her straight! My mate then continued by saying that just because my mate has a few scars on her body doesn't mean she's ashamed of her body, it's proof that even after what she's been through, she still made it and is alive and kicking... So my mate went through something bad and now has a few scars, I wonder what happened but I'm proud of her for not being ashamed of those scars more so that she's alive... Then my mate told Sarah that as for my mates clothes, it's winter bitch and that's why she's wearing winter clothes, Sarah should try it. With that said, not only me but everyone at the table smiled in satisfaction. Zelnarine continued by saying that the whole point she was trying to make was that if I was interested in Sarah then I wouldn't have followed Zelnarine out of the Classroom and asked if Sarah understood that. The last part Zelnarine said with a smile, but on the other hand the look on Sarah's face was priceless. Zelnarine then turned and walked out of the restaurant, heading for what I assume is the bookstore.

Luckily for me the rest of the people at the table had finished eating so we paid our bill and head out of the restaurant leaving Sarah and her friends behind. Or so I had hoped but to my disappointment she followed us to wherever we went and kept on trying to get my attention, to the point it even started to annoy the shop assistant at the clothing store we were in. I got fed up and told the others that I was going to go find Zelnarine and they said that they were coming with me. When I mentioned my mates name I saw Sarah flinch, looks like my mate scared her a little earlier. Serves her right.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Sarah try to approach me so I turned to her and said straight to her face that if I had an interest in her I would have shown it. What's more I prefer someone like Zelnarine over Sarah anytime. It also seems that she has a problem with people having scars on their bodies, so just to let her know that even I have scars on my body and not to mention I also like reading. With that I turned around and walked away from her. I could hear the other three chuckle behind me and then I felt a tap on my shoulder. When I looked around I saw Cleo behind me and the other two were in their own little world talking to each other. Cleo then told that to take it slow. I was confused since I didn't know what she was talking about. She then shocked me by saying that even though Zelnarine is my mate, I shouldn't rush it and just give it my all to make her fall for me instead of forcing our ways onto Zelnarine. When I asked her how she knew, she said I was making it quite obvious that Zelnarine was my mate. Then I asked her how she knew I was, well not normal and she told me that she's a water elemental witch and she can kinda sense when someone is of the supernatural. She then told me that she won't stand in my way but if I ever dare to hurt Zelnarine she will make me regret ever being born and that also applies for Erin when it comes to Ritha.

As soon as she finished saying that Ritha came over to us asking what we were talking about. When I looked over at Erin I could see that he heard everything Cleo had said and was shocked as well just like me.

With Cleo's warning in my and Erin's head, we made our way over to the bookstore, to meet up with Zelnarine.
