(The love between a brother and sister.)

Chapter twenty five:

Cale walked down to the dungeons. He needed to see his sister. To talk with her. At least once. Cale walked into her cell and closed it behind him. It smelt dirty and grimy as well as metallic. Kira was chained up to the wall her face sweaty and it had dirt on it. It looked like the interrogators did a number on her. Her face had a cut on it that strained from the temple. The blood oozed down and dripped from her chin. Her scars was nearly unnoticeable from the matted hair all over her face. Finally, her stumps were present as well.

Hey, Cale said awkwardly.

Kira lifted her head before slowly dropping it back down.

What do you want? She asked.

To talk. Cale replied to his sister's question.

Your asking for too much. Kira said.

Cale smiled. Her perfect sarcasm was still there. Meaning at least some of her was still inside of there. Cale just had to pull it out.

Why did you try to kill me? Cale asked her.

You know why, Kira growled.

If I knew I wouldn't be asking, Cale pointed out. Kira glared at him before continuing to talk.

When I was attacked by Ben... I was knocked unconscious but when I awoke I saw you standing over me. But then, you walked away leaving me to die. Kira told her older brother.

Bullshit, Cale remarked. Let's use our brain for a second. You mean to tell me that while I was on a mission you knew I was on, and knowing that Supreme Leader Snoke had the ability to change mind perception, you still thought it was me despite knowing these things? Cale asked.

Kira opened her mouth to argue but shut it closed shortly after. She had no argument. No point. Tears spilled out of her eyes as she realized, maybe her older brother did have a point.

Kira you looked for something to hate to justify your own insecurities. Cale said. Cale stood up and walked to the cell door. Before Cale shut the door, he turned his back to see Kira with her head down and tears were spilling out of her eyes. Quickly Cale shut the door and left. Once he reached his room he sat on his bed and couldn't help but let tears fall.
