"Sandra...wha....wha...What is that???" James stammers to ask his sister. Sandra looks over to see her brother uncontrollably shaking and holding back his tears. When she looks back where she shone the light in the corner the shadow had disappeared from the corner. Sandra shook when she found it was no longer in sight then grabbed her brother and pulled him close so she knows he is safe.
"I'm not sure James, but it will be OK.....there's nothing to fear, I will keep you safe." Sandra soothes her baby brother until he's asleep from shaking and crying so much. He felt so scared and cold in her arms. She reached over, careful not to wake her baby brother, to turn on the lamp to see a secret figure of a shadow in the corner again. She pretended to ignore it as best she could and get some sleep.
It's going on 5am now though and Sandra is still wide awake, just eyeballing the corner where the figure has not moved a single bit as she holds her brother closely. Her eyelids give around 5:30am and she dozes off and finds herself being shaken awake by the feeling of piercing black eyes upon her. She opens her eyes with a startle and sees nothing anywhere. She feels as though it's there but in the unseen parts of the room. She can feel the presence. She looks to her arms and takes a sigh of relief to notice her brother still tightly in her arms. She decides to get up and carry her brother with her. Sandra rushes to her room with a type of calm to her speed. She doesn't know what this thing is and didn't want to seem desperate to get away from it considering it has caused her and her brother no harm. She also did not want to startle her sleeping parents from beneath James' room.
When she gets to her room she feels a little more relaxed. She doesn't think the figure is there to cause any harm though she feels uneasy when it is near. She feels restless even in her room away from the figure, she can't sleep anymore.
