CHAPTER: 14

                    "THE LAST HANGOUT"

       at night. vindy came out from her room to have dinner. "you finally came out." said lisa. "why? you were waiting for me?" asked vindy. "i was hoping to have dinner with you." said lisa. "ehm let's do that. and it's also our last chance." said vindy. "so you going? i thought you changed your plan.." mentioned lisa. "i called but they can't do anything in such short time. just do me a favour and dont tell anyone where i am going." said vindy. "why?" asked lisa. "please. okay let's go out and enjoy our night." mentioned vindy. "you are never going to come back?" questioned lisa. "maybe. don't forget this lisa that i was always loyal with our friendship. i am sorry for somethings but i never used you or tried to hurt you." answered vindy. "why are you saying this?" asked lisa. "just to make it clear. ok let's go. i am starving." said vindy. they both went out of the house with car keys.

       "where are we going?" questioned lisa sitting in the car. "our favourite hangout place." told vindy.  "seriously, bar?" asked lisa. "their club sandwiches are the best." mentioned vindy. lisa smiled. few moments later they reached. "let's go and have fun whole night." said vindy. "fun huh! all i can do is to sit there and watch others." said lisa. "shut up! i will make you dance even in the wheel chair." said vindy and smiled. they both went in. "i think that's billy. but who is he with?" said lisa pointing towards the man sitting on the sofa. "yeah that's him." said vindy. billy turned his face and saw them. he walked here. "hello vindy and lisa! how are you guys?" questioned billy. "i am good." said vindy. "and what about you lisa? have you recovered? i listened about the accident." asked billy. "i am fine. thanks" said lisa. "don't you introduce us with your company?" asked vindy to billy. "uhhh that! she is Rachel. my girlfriend." said billy and called her loudly. Rachel came to them. "Hi nice to meet you Rachel." said vindy. "who are they?" questioned Rachel to billy. "this is my ex wife vindy and she is her friend lisa." told billy. "ohhh nice to meet you too." said Rachel to them both. "we are getting late. so bye, see you later." greeted billy and left with Rachel. "are you okay?" asked lisa. "i am fine. he moved on and i am happy for him." said vindy. "okay! let's go and eat." mentioned lisa.

       marry was going home. "i will drop you." said officer john. "no need. you must be tired so go home." said marry. "please marry! i am okay. i also want to talk." told officer john. "fine!" said marry. they sat in the car. "what about an answer?" questioned officer john. "answer? what?" questioned marry. "about my proposal!" said officer john. "i haven't decided yet. my mind is in the case these days." said marry. "is it that much difficult to decide?" asked officer john. "yeah it is because it's about my life. i don't wanna take wrong decision again. i can't ruin it again." told marry. "fine. i am sorry for pushing." apologised officer john. "it's okay. you dont need to." said marry. "what is your plan now?" questioned officer john. "once they will tell me about the secretary. i will catch that person and he or she will take me to the boss." said marry. "but that's not easy and they both are not opening their mouths." mentioned officer john. "they will soon. my sixth sense is telling me that it will be over soon. and also i am so much tired." said marry. "you will be fine. i am by your side and we have reached." said officer john. "ok bye! see you tomorrow." greeted marry and went in her house.

      lisa was so much drunk. vindy took her home. "gosh! she can't control herself just after two glasses." said vindy. she took her to the room, removed her shoes and help her lay down on the bed. after thinking for few moments. vindy took a letter out of her purse and put it on the dressing table in lisa's room. "good bye! girl. i love you alot." said vindy to lisa while sleeping. vindy left the lisa's room and entered her room and started packing her stuff.

it was the night when everyone slept to prepare themselves for next challenges. they didn't know what's ahead of them.

       next morning marry woke up, had her breakfast, changed her clothes and went to the station. she reached there. "hello everyone! where is officer john?" asked marry to one of the officer. "he is in the files room." said officer. "files huh?" said marry and walked towards the room. "what are you doing?"questioned marry to officer john. "hello! i am just checking some papers for the new case." said officer john. "new case?" questioned marry. "yeah i just get it today. i am the team leader." told officer john. "wow that's mean you got promoted?" asked Marry. "yeah something like that." said officer john. "congrats! i am happy for you. i want treat. okay?!" said marry. "yes my lord." said officer john and laughed. "okay i should go to investigation room." said marry. "okay good luck." said officer. marry walked towards the investigation room.

        "have you decided?" asked marry to leny and Veronica. leny and Veronica stared each other. "yes we are." said leny. "fine. who is the secretary? i want name and place also."said marry. they both were quite for the minute. "leny will tell." said Veronica. "ehmm!" saighed marry. "umm it's vindy." said leny. "vindy who?" questioned marry. "vindy Andrews." said Veronica. "what the hell! is it true?" questioned marry. "we don't have any reason to lie right now." said leny. "officer john!" shouted marry. officer john rushed inside. "start the car. we are going to lisa's house." said marry in hurry. "okay." said officer john and grabbed the keys.
