Que let out a heavy breath and sank against his chest. Looks like she wasn't going to die today.

"Enough. The shows over. Scram." The maids scampered away at the sound of his voice. Who'd expect the young general to show up himself.

"Consider yourself lucky, bitch." Bethy hissed from her raging anger which she was trying to hard to supress. With Zed here she couldn't do anything.

"And you, Nadia, quit wrecking the peace of our home." She snorts and wiped the blood on her mouth.

"Better keep her out of my sight, Zed. There's no guarantee of what will happen when we meet next." She walked away grumbling leaving only the two of them behind.
