55. Twist.

In a freezing dark and quiet forest that even the chirps of the insects couldn't be heard, four black ravens as black as the night descended from the dark moonless sky and took the form of humans. One had a broken limb and was limping while two were sweating profusely, struggling to catch their breathes. Only one was left unscathed and if upon a closer look at his face, a smug smile could be seen etched on his face, lips hooked in a proud smirk.

"They've gotten quite adept at chasing us. Look, they were very close to catching up with us."

"Indeed, the battle had just gotten on a whole new level. It is expected of them to toughen up, just as it is of us. But," Their leader said, "we have an advantage. Karl Zeus is at his weakest now, and it'll take a lot of struggle on his side before he regained his strength." He snapped a branch of a tree and twirl it between his fingers. "You know what that means."
