The window of the old house rattle as the rain outside gots heavier with strong winds blowing. Nana drew the quilt closer to her body and stared blankly into space. Not long after Jiji's departure, it started raining turning the already cold room even colder. She felt stronger after eating a warm meal and was in a better condition.

Mie, Mrs Tema's granddaughter had arrived shortly after Jiji's departure and came in the rain, her clothes somewhat wet. After taking off the outer garments, she sat by the fireplace ever since she arrived and passed Mrs Tema's message. They sat in the complete silence, each to her own thoughts. Nana had never been fond of her even though she was Que's friend.
