(S)112. New Home II

Even before we arrive at the dining room as we rounded the corner, a mouth-watering smell assaulted my nose and I found myself gulping down mouthfuls of saliva. I just realized that I am hungry, the last time I ate was yesterday at breakfast. When I grab a few bites of my maple syrup pancakes before I was dragged back into the room by Soph saying and I quote,

"Brides usually lose their appetite days before their marriage but I don't know what went wrong with you. Even if you haven't, you can at least pretend." Like I said earlier, I nodded my head like a little perfect wife.

And all thanks to my lovely husband, I missed dinner last night. I'm practically starving and the enticing aroma wafting in the air isn't helping.

The table was packed with various dishes and there wasn't anyone around.
