(S)123. Surprise.

Do dolls speak? Her tiny brain was puzzled. Her little doll back at home doesn't talk. But then, since larger humans speak, it should be normal for larger dolls to speak as well. Her tiny brain concluded.

She nodded vehemently, having found a companion in the darkness.

"Yes, I'm alone. We were pwaying and my brother weft me." She replied.

She waited for it to say something more but it didn't. It is alone too, so she asked.

"Where is your mommy?"

Instead, when she looked closer she realized that it had left. Where did it go? Can larger dolls vanish in thin air as well?

She was all alone again. The little girl felt dejected.

The sky thundered, it had started raining and she was trapped inside for hours. She fell asleep as she waited. It wasn't until she left the shade did realize what the doll meant.

When she woke up it was already dark outside, she ran out of the shade as fast as her tiny legs could carry her and returned home.
