The secret agreement

Jenna pushed him until his back reached the book shelf in the farthest corner of the school library where they usually meet. It was early in the morning and only few students were inside, reading books quietly.

She seem agitated now, her beautiful green eyes was looking straight at his deep ocean blue orbs but as if she was looking at something beyond his eyes and he can see sadness through them.

"Dean.." she murmured before she gently pulled his nape with her cold hand that send shiver under his skin and kissed him passionately, as if seeking for warmth and love, her lips was definitely sweet, warm and soft.

Shaun pulled her closer and kissed her back with same intensity. Hot and wild. He wraps his arms around her tightly, savouring her sweet fresh mint taste.

And it felt so good to feel each others touch when they're feeling down and lonely for their one sided feelings towards the one they truly love.

He knew she needs him and he needs her as well to fill each other's emptiness. Their breaths were panting when they broke the kiss.

Her face was slightly blushed after that intensed kiss, She was still looking at him but her eyes was still sad. She gently tuck in the stray strands of his long hair on his face with her cold finger.

She picked her red bag pack on the floor.

"See you around, Shaun!" She said softly avoiding to make some noise at the library before she left him there standing still.

Its been a month since they make the agreement to be the shelter of each other's feelings, funny though they have unrequited love with each others siblings who happened to started dating a month ago.

They grew up together in the same neighborhood and they were all friends ever since, who have thought feelings grew as they grew older?

Jenica was Jenna's one year older sister was Shaun's first love while Dean his five minutes older twin brother was Jenna's firstlove and now Dean and Jenica was the ones whose dating.

They don't know how tangled up their feelings would be as time pass by, it just happened that they found comfort with each other and now they're bound with an agreement.

He walked out of the library room for his first class this morning, it's been an hour after his encounter with Jenna.

A month ago...

She went to school early this morning although her classes starts at 9am, she was an hour early to watch Dean playing piano at the school's music room on the fifth floor of the main building.

She brought some ham and cheese sandwich for him, his favorite. She could hear him playing Canon in D Major by Johann Pachelbel from the stairs towards the music room.

The one she always request him to play. They usually meet in that room, three times a week for his piano lesson, his extra curriculum and she usually stays there before his class starts.

Dean was her favorite person, he was her best friend although they were seven in the group of friends, he was the closest one to her.

They were all neighbors and that special bonds starts since they were young as playmates.

She was the youngest one, the baby of the group, that's why she was spoiled.

Trina and Aaron were cousins and they were the oldest in the group. They were both in junior college, while the twins Dean and Shaun, her sister Jenica and Alexis were all sophomores and she was now a freshman student.

She continued walking until she reach the music room, she was feeling excited to give him his favorite breakfast that she personally prepared.

She slowly open the door and peek inside, she was still breathless from walking upstairs.

She was stunned to see her sister Jenica laughing with Dean sitting beside him at the piano stool, this was the first time she saw them this close together.

She felt a punch in her chest, they were not this close and seeing them happy together makes her jealous.

She left them alone. Nothing is wrong seeing them together but her instinct tells her that it was unusual.

Is this why her sister change all of a sudden after breaking up with her long time boyfriend Alec? She thought. Feeling threatened. She saw something in her smile towards Dean, something really unusual.

No one knows she likes Dean and even she was close with her only sister she never tells her, her deepest secret, and now she regretted not telling her.

She walked straight to the cafeteria and sat on the farthest corner, she put her bag in the table and lean her head towards her bag lazily and closed her eyes.

She suddenly remember Dean's asking Jenica's favorite food when they talk yesterday, she didn't saw it coming. Does Dean making a move on her sister? She thought making her feeling worst.

She was startled when someone rubs her head making her hair messy.

"Hey, it's too early to slouch. Chicken head!" He said in his soothing voice.

She instantly raise her head to see his annoying smug.

"Dea.." yes he looked just like him but he's totally different person.

Really really different. She thought.

She rolled her eyes off him, he was the the least person she wanted to see.

"Leave me alone Shaun! I'm not in the mood!" She said in an annoyed tone.

"I thought it's Wednesday today, why aren't you in the music room?" He asked her before he comfortably sat on the chair across her.

"None of your business dude!" She replied rudely making him chuckles.

Yeah they were identical twins and share almost the same looks, except the darker shades of his blue eyes, Dean has a lighter one and he has this shoulder length hair that's tied in a pony while Dean was clean cut.

Shaun was a rock band member in the university that's why he has that hair while Dean was into piano, classy.

And they have totally different attitude, Dean was an angel while this one is a total a-hole. She smirks at the thought.

"Let's eat I'm starving. What do you want? My treat." He said looking straight at her.

"Coffee latte. Less sugar please." She replied lazily with a forced smile on her face.

He was about to stand up to buy when she remembers the sandwich for Dean, she would just give it to him anyway.

"Wait do you want sandwich?" She said starting to get it out of her bag.

"Yeah sure, I'll just buy some drinks." He said before he went away.

She took out two zip lock plastic with two pieces of sandwiches each, the breakfast she made for Dean and her, two ham and cheese for him and two egg, bacon and cheese for her.

He returned with two huge disposable cup of coffee in his both hands and put one infront of her.

"Less sugar." He said before he sat back on the chair where he sat a while ago.

"Thanks!" She instinctively replied and he just smiled back at her.

He really looks like Dean. She thought.

She gave him Dean's share and started eating her egg, bacon and cheese sandwich and he does the same but he frowns when he had his first bite.

"Hey, what's wrong? Does it taste awful?" She curiously asked feeling suddenly ashamed.

"Nah, not really. I just don't prefer ham sandwich, well it's for Dean anyway." He honestly said, Shaun was a straight forward person.

She felt ashamed but he was right. That is definitely for Dean and she has no idea that they had different taste in food.

"How about this?" Giving him her remaining sandwich.

"It's bacon, egg and cheese." She added.

He took it and started eating quietly.

"So why aren't you with Dean at the music room as usual?" He curiously asked once he had finished eating his sandwich.

"Well I guess he doesn't need me there anymore. Jenica was with him there already." She said, un-aware why she frankly told him that. Guess she needs someone to talk to.

She was stunned when she saw that his handsome face suddenly dim from what she had said.

Could he be possibly into Jenica or she was just mistaken about his reaction?

"What's wrong?" She curiously asked him.

But he just kept quiet suddenly. She didn't dare asked questions anymore. She just finished her coffee silently observing him.

He suddenly became gloomy, Guess someone's on the same boat as her, sailing alone like her.

The bell rang around the building, it was time for her first subject. The cafeteria was started to become crowded with students, she gathered her things and stood up, and put her red bag pack on her right shoulder.

Shaun was still quiet sipping his coffee, his poker face started to annoyed her again, unknowing what he was thinking.

"See you around" she said then left without any expressions at all.
