Chapter 5: The Earring heirloom and Singing

Hui MengYu open the small box, in the box, there was one piece of earring.

Like a crystal, it sparkles under the sunlight coming through the window.

The lavender color was lovely and MengYu liked it by just one look.

" it's very pretty grandpa," MengYu said still with the red under this eye.

"Umm, even though it was there for a long time. It still looks as if it's new." Grandpa Hui looks proud.

"Come on now, wear it-" after I schedule a day going to the pediatrician. Grandpa Hui didn't have the time to say that,

Hui MengYu took the earring and plugged it onto his ear. Blood came flooding out. He didn't make a noise, this level of pain was endurable come prepared for the pain of getting a sprain in the apocalypse. You still have to run even if you sprained yourself.

"What are You Doing you, idiot!!!" Yelled grandpa, with an angry and worried look.

MengYu tiled his head. His whole face was covered with '???'

No one cared for MengYu for a long time, so he didn't know if he's worried. MengYu just thought that grandpa was angry. Even tho he has a little brother that cares for him, he doesn't talk much and his face most often had no expression.

MengYu also never worn an earring before. So he did not know that you were supposed to go to the pediatrician or dermatologist to get your ear pierced first.

So MengYu thought that 'why is he angry?' to 'what did I forget to do...?' to 'oh! I forgot to sing for the heirloom ceremony' then to 'h looks so mad. I would quickly sing!'

So he started to sing. He felt something is wrong but didn't know what that is...

"Crowd, fireworks, champagne and balloons"

Grandpa looked at him as if he had seen an idiot. With a stupefied expression.

MengYu's thoughts were that the sound was too small so he sang louder. He was not sure if he sing correctly, it was a long time he sing a song.

Grandpa Hui's expression was like (what the fudge are you doing!?) on his face. But MengYu closes his eyes when he sings and did not see his expression. If he did, he would be surprisingly scared. Because grandpa Hui never had this expression before in his whole life being with him.

Even a small sound attracts zombies' attention so singing was not allowed. These lyrics were made in 2005 and it's his favorite song. Made by Kelly Clarkson, David Hodges, and Ben Moody. Not a lot of people know this song because it's very old, like one century old.

Outside Zhang ChangHao was walking with his grandpa Zhang Wang. A street across Grandpa Hui house backyard.

Suddenly he looked in MengYu's direction and hear someone singing.

"Escape from the world, whispers, and commotion~"

He was surprised, it's a mid-level old land here. Mostly old people live here.

* mid-level land means that the land is rich but not the richest. Like the soil is good and the sensory is prettier than most places.*

His grandpa wanted to walk with his youngest grandson so they went outside walking near his grandma's house.

He didn't expect someone singing at this time and in this place.

It was a pleasant and water-like voice

And he and his grandpa looked at each other and walked in that direction.

* water-like voice means for me is clam, smooth and juvenile voice!*

As the voice got clearer the better it was. They walked around the house and got to the entrance.

"There are only you, me, and the starry sky-"

We saw an ancient Chinese building. Zhang ChangHao asked his grandpa " do you know who lives here?"

Zhang Wang smiles and looked at him, he replies" an old acquaintance. "

The singing suddenly stopped. They were surprised, it did not seem like the song stopped there. And Zhang Wang was curious who it was.

Grandpa Hui hit his head " what is wrong with you! Your bleeding and you are singing now of all times!?!?"

He then ran to get paper and ointment.

He wiped it first and disinfect the injury and said " you are so smart in class but in common sense, you are a fool! Before was fine, you at least know that hurting yourself is bad. Now you even pierced yourself and you don't even care!!!" (╬`益´)

MengYu now know why he shows angry expression to him before. " sorry grandpa, I forgot..."(╥-╥) "

Hui MengYu looked innocently at grandpa Hui "so don't get angry, it's bad for your health" (TAT)

ML : I finely appeared! ＼(≧▽≦)／

MengYu: Ah, but I did not see you?

ML: I was outside your house! And I got to hear you sing!!! o(≧▽≦)o

MengYu: oh so you did.

ML:.... what's with this tone? Is it bad that I appeared? (*꒦ິ^꒦ີ)

MengYu: well we did not agree to be a couple in the first place so technically you are not my lover yet in last life.

ML: b-But you said you liked me before I died! (QAQ)

MengYu: but you died so we didn't even date yet.

ML: ....ying (╥ △ ╥)
