Chapter 102 : Getting to Wen Hou
Hui MengYu talked to his grandpa and explained everything. And asked one of the soldiers working to give those girls what they asked for. Since they were quite honest and weren't lying to him, he'll give them a place to stay for a while and food. They betrayed their group after all, Hui MengYu isn't so dumb to think those girls from before wouldn't find them trouble. Su AnJun got himself clean and was really going to go out and get Wen Hou.
After taking the vaccine, Hui MengYu went out with Su AnJun. "So did you get it?" Hui MengYu said as he sat down.
"Oh, that plant right? I did, it's in the trunk. What's so special about that flower?" Su AnJun asked, their mission was to get a flower from a house. The only thing about it that was special was the fact that the orchid had purple to blue tone and golden spots. it 's just a normal pot of flowers.
"It's something important." Hui MengYu simply said, yes it looks ordinary. But that's just the appearance. It isn't going to be fully bloomed in 2 to 3 years but it has its uses. Plants mutate too after all, this flower mutates into an air refresher. The reason Hui MengYu wanted this was for his own base. He plans to have his own base in the future. The air isn't that bad in the future but has more carbon dioxide because people have gone back to using fossil fuels because they run out of an energy source. The air is bearable but it isn't good for the body. He had to get it before it mutated because once it grows it can't be moved. People tried doing that before but the roots on this plant go pretty deep.
Su AnJun drove not too long, about 5 to 7 minutes to get there. He really didn't leave him far huh.
Hui MengYu got out and looked around, it seems like he cleaned out this place before leaving seeing how there aren't many zombies walking around and few lying on the ground. Su AnJun led Hui Meng Yu to an old looking house. The door was left open.
"Did you leave this house open on purpose?" Hui MengYu asked.
"Well.. Ugn… yes." Su AnJun nodded nervously.
"T-to make it look like it's b-been already robbed. I don't want someone t-to come in to kill A'Hou while i was away…" Su AnJun said as he got inside, opening a door that was leading down.
"Smart, but that plan isn't great for the long term. You left it open but from the window you can see things that are still there, like the cookies over there. People would still come inside to hide and find your friend you know." Hui MengYu remarked, as he walked down the stairs.
He could make out some growling from the stairs where he was standing.
Hui MengYu got to the bottom of the stairs and saw Wen Hou in the stair, tied up. His mouth wasn't tied up though, that is why he would hear him.
"If this ever happens again, you have to remember to block the mouth, people could hear him from the stairs. They could have not seen him and left, but if they come here to stay for a while then your buddy would be found in no time." Hui MengYu saids. Opening the case where the vaccine is in, and buying a syringe from the system shop. He injected the whole liquid into his body, the vaccine worked quickly as the green skin quickly turned to his normal skin color.
But Wen Hou didn't wake up. Seeing this, Su AnJun turn to Hui MengYu with tears in his eyes.
Hui MengYu rubbed his forehead and ask Lan.
'why isn't he waking up, lan?'
[the vaccine takes a while to fully work, about an hour or two to fully cure him.]
"The vaccine doesn't work this fast, it'll take an hour or more to fully work, so calm your ass down." Hui MengYu said as he took a fruit out of his space and much on it.
Su AnJun blanked out. And blushed, he felt embarrassed. He is clearly older than him but he panicked like a little kid. Although Su AnJun saw Hui MengYu using his space ability, he never saw him taking any fruits in. Maybe Hui MengYu put it in before they met or when he was on a mission?
Su AnJun rubbed his face and calmed down, don't think too much about it. As long as A'Hou is fine, his boss having fruits isn't that much special nor important.
