Skilled and Stylish

[And The Winner Of This Match is… Nier!] The mascot announced.

Sera turned to Kiana and asked, "That was a good match, wasn't it?"

"Yeah. She was fighting like she has been professionally trained," Kiana answered.

"Oh, please," Kevin scoffed. "Nier is the best example of the latest generation girl. And they are more interested in anything other than money, fame, and hot boys."

Kiana raised her brows and uttered, "And what's wrong with that?"

Kevin shrugged and said, "When did I say there is anything wrong with that? I mean, boys are like that too. Who doesn't want money and fame?"

"Probably Ziro," Sera replied. "He doesn't seem to be interested in all that crap."

'Because he is a simp,' she added inwardly.

[The Next Battle Is Between Zoro and Ziro!]

"Why do parents give their sons such cringe names? I don't understand," Kevin commented. "If it were me, I would literally be hiding my face in embarrassment."

Zoro raised his hand and said, "I will use the katana as my weapon."

"Is Ziro planning to fight barehanded again?" Kiana wondered curiously.

"Just asking, but can't he like…" Sera tried to make gestures with her hands to explain, but she couldn't.

After a brief pause, she continued, "If he snatches or takes opponent's weapon and uses it?"

Kevin knitted his brows and asked, "You didn't read the rules, right?"

"There were too many rules, so I just skimmed over it," Sera replied nonchalantly.

'I can't believe she truly is a high school teacher.' Kiana shook her head in disbelief.

"Players are not allowed to use or even touch an opponent's weapons with their hand," Kiana asserted.

Everyone looked at Ziro to hear his response. He nodded and said, "I will use the sheath of katana then."

"Whoa!" Kevin clapped his hand and yelled, "That was dope!"

Of course, Ziro didn't do it on purpose, but he had no need to use any weapon to win.

The mascot and Zoro stared at Ziro with confused looks on their faces.

"Uh… is sheath nor allowed to use?"

[Well, technically, it's not considered a weapon. But whatever; you can use it,] the mascot answered.

Zoro held his katana tightly, and Ziro casually spun the sheath with his finger.

[Three! Two! One! Go]

Zoro dashed at Ziro and swung the sword straight at Ziro's face. Ziro didn't care to dodge and blocked it with the sheath.

Zoro swung the sword in the opposite direction, and Ziro blocked the attack again.

After dodging and blocking for a while, Zoro struck the katana from top to bottom.

Ziro didn't anticipate an attack like that, but he managed to dodge it narrowly.

However, Zoro tossed the sword to his other hand and stabbed Ziro, or so it looked like. But, Ziro used the sheath, and the katana was sheathed inside the sheath.

Nero pulled the sheath back with Katana still inside it and kicked Zoro out of the ring. However, Zoro managed to balance himself, and he stopped a few feet away from the ring.

Ziro shrugged the sheath forward, and the katana came out of it.

However, Ziro couldn't use the katana as it was out of the rules.

The hilt of the katana jabbed Zoro on the chest as he stumbled on his feet and struggled to get balance himself.

Without wasting any time, Ziro jumped and smacked the sheath on Zoro's head.

Zoro tripped and fell out of the ring.

[And The Winner Of This Match Is… Ziro!] The mascot announced.

"Whoa!" The crowd applauded in excitement.

"Damn, that player Ziro is awesome! I am rooting for him!" A kid watching the match from the real world uttered and slapped his big brother, who was sleeping on the couch.

"Heh! That Ziro is acting all cool and mighty. He is a dick. I hope someone beat the shit out of him," a viewer commented from the real world and bumped into the pole soon after.

Kiana nudged Kevin and asked, "Shall we go grab some popcorn for the epic round three?"

"Ye..ah."

"What's wrong?" Kiana asked. "You were excited just a while ago."

"Ziro hasn't realized it yet," Kevin muttered.

"Realized what?"

"The time counted in the battle depends on how much time the match was cleared."

"Yeah, we know that. And if the opponent surrenders, then 20 seconds are counted as default to keep the scoring fair for all the players," Kiana asserted with a nod.

"The least time taken to finish the match was 26 seconds by Byldger," Kevin uttered and added, "When his opponent just ran around and dashed out of the right out of the ring after 26 seconds— without even fighting."

"You have been awfully irritated about Byldger for some reason," Kiana argued. "Are you still angry about what happened in the dungeon raid?"

"That's not my point. What I am trying to say is, it took Byldger 26 seconds for the shortest match. But…" After a brief pause, Kevin muttered, "Ziro finished this match in only 23 seconds."
