Chapter 1- The Story

"You can't even do something right" the emperor coldly said to me while holding a piece of paper that filled with false reports about me.

He raised his hand and slapped me at the face. As he stares at me with disgust.

I just gripped my right hand and lifelessly stare at him.

"Your Majesty! Please! Don't hurt your own daughter!" mother pleaded while freeing herself from the grip of the knights and servants.

Mother, who has a light yellow hair with brown eyes.

He turned around "I don't have a MONSTER as my DAUGHTER." He blatantly said.

I touched my chest with my left hand.

"....It supposed to hurt… but now it felt nothing." I mumbled to myself.

Instead of pain..

I felt relieved and stare lifelessly to the guy who is standing at the throne while staring coldly at me.

The man in front of me is the FATHER of mine--- in name only. He has shining golden hair and blue jeweled eyes.

"Fa-father, please s-stop it now." Leila(female lead) begged. The female lead whose eyes and long hair is exactly like the Emperor.

Who is now trembling in fear.

"There, there, my dear sister. Don't be fooled by a demon." Albert(my supposed to be twin- who exactly looked like him--- only shorter and wavier-type of hair) said dearly to her while coaxing her and looking at me with disbelief.

"Don't be too naïve, Leilani. A MONSTER even DRESSED as a HUMAN is still a MONSTER." He agreed to Albert.

'Monster?...

'Aren't you the one who created this MONSTER of yours?'

I looked at my little feet covered with bruises and scars.. 'Hah! How ironic.'

'There is no point of this... I'm tired..'

I'm tired from all of the ABUSE..

I'm tired from all of the PAIN..

I'm tired from all of those KILLING EYES..

I'm tired from all of the LIES..

And mostly, I'm tired from staying in this NIGHTMARE..

I've never wish to be their so-called monster. I never wanted to be lifeless. I only want to be LOVED just like in the past...

But... It's in the past. What I need now is FREEDOM.

I looked attentively to my bruises and scars. It's time to end this horrible nightmare. "Then… THROW me out." I lifelessly suggest.

It's time for me to wake up, not in a dream but in this horrible real-life nightmare.

"Alicia!" mother shouted while crying. Everyone was shocked and froze of what I said then begun on whispering to each other.

'What's the use of being in here if I'm not welcome.. I don't need to suck-up like what every person who get reincarnated in the novel do…. I'm different.'

'And sucking up is very hard... for me. I specifically, don't want to suck up to this guy..' pointing my eyes to the Emperor '.. and especially this brat. Who only have the Female lead in his eyes..' then turning my view to 'my' stupid doglike twin brother.

I would have a hard time if I were the Female lead. Just thinking of it just make me shivers.

The Emperor froze for a second and deadly stared at me.

"What did you say?" menacing

"…. I said just THROW me out." Lifeless.

He knitted his eyebrows and smirked.

"Hah! What can a 7-year-old kid can do?" The Emperor smirked as he provoked and mocked me.

"I'm not a kid.. I'm a MONSTER." I answered without a hint of life, tilting my head to the side because of the sudden word KID. 'What a sudden word?... I thought I will never be called a kid.. feels new to be called like that.'

"What?" mother gasped while holding her lips and cried feeling helplessly weak. I suddenly looked at her and sighed in a straight Lifeless face.

"Your Highness!" Polly (Mother's Loyal Maid--- who has orange hair and yellow eyes) helps mother regaining her balance. "Please be careful."

The Nobles and Servants eyes became wide even the emperor, female lead and Albert.

'Heh! What stupid faces they are making today. What a new facial expressions they have.' Sighing myself and having a fluttering feel inside my chest. I wanted to smile but I can't.. Not in front of this guy.

"S-sister?" Leila cried just like mother.

'How many buckets of tears do these two have?' silently pondering from them.

The Emperor gripped his left hand. "You are worthless." He mumbled.

'What's the point of mumbling when I can still hear it?' I only ponder and sighed without a hint of life.

I stared at the floor and catch a glimpse of my reflection. Dark black hair-- just like the night--and brown eyes---just like mother.

'I want to be free and be myself' I gripped the side of my skirt.

'FREEDOM.'

I once looked at myself from the reflection at the floor. 'I've decided... to live FREELY.'

"...Once upon a time…" I started and caught their attention---- questioning.

"There was a kingdom.. the greatest kingdom of all kingdoms... In that kingdom lived the most powerful King."

I looked at the man in front of me with Lifeless eyes. "He is called the kingdom's great ruler.---"

"Shut up! Your high---" the Emperor's Loyal Secretary--- Laxus(Who has brown hair and green eyes) reacted but interrupted by his signal.

I stared at Laxus without a hint of life because of his sudden interruption. He catches and backed down then avoided me, a sudden light blush appeared on his ear that makes me look at him more but was sudden interrupt by the Emperor's fake cough.

'Why do these two keep interrupting me?' I pushed those thoughts away and decided to continue the story.

"One day, a fairy visited the King and said "Oh! Great King, your wife will give birth to a twin.. The one will be the kingdom's light that gives hope and protection, while the other will have a dark curse that presenting the downfall of thy land."

I stared straight to the Emperor's eyes coldly. Remembering that very night which made me fall from my sorrow and feel frightened from my fate. That night that still makes me shivers and brings back all those dead memories that I wanted to forget.

The very same night where I beg for my life.

'And in this situation, I don't want to hear the decision you made that night. I want to hear even through this story that you picked me to love not to be sacrificed. Even in this slight chance you treat me as a daughter. I also want to be part of the Family.'

Gripping my hands strongly. 'I don't care if it's a LIE. I just want to feel home.. just once.'

"What do you think that the King did, Your Majesty,?" I asked as staring at him coldly. 'Please... Fa---Your Highness.'

That made everyone fall silent.
