Chapter 74 - Bundle of sheets

Having decided that he was going to leave, he had few things to take care of. He swiftly took a bath and changed into new clothes.

Fan Xui was still deeply asleep on the bed. He carefully placed the sheet over him and left the room.

His mother waited right by the door with a dubious grin on her face.

"Ah, finally you are up," she giggled slightly. "tell me all about it,"

"About what? My outing with Peng Peng?" Yue hugged her with a doubtful look on his face.

She gently slapped his arms. "No silly, tell me what happened with you and little fan,"

"Nothing, he is deeply asleep." he opened the door slightly and gestured for her to look in.

His mother looked quite disappointed at this.

"Mum... he is not into men. Don't do anything silly,"

Zou Nui pouted. "Who said that? He might be into you. No, I am absolutely sure that he is in love with you,"

Yue just walked away, shaking his head. 'Mum, oh mum, you don't even know that man. he absolutely hates being touched by men.'

On the way to the hallway, he noticed a huge lump of sheets near the pond. "What the hell...who put that there.. they might get wet..."

As he walked closer, he noticed two pairs of feet sticking out.

"Mum, who are they?" he softly whispered, leaning down to her.

"Peng Peng and uncle wen's son. He-he-he they are dating now," she excitedly giggled, jumping around. "My baby Yue was a cupid yesterday..." she said, slapping his shoulders lightly.

Zou Yue looked at the sheet weirdly. 'Darn Peng Peng, you move so fast. Didn't we meet Qian only  yesterday?'

The last night's memories were quite vague, but he certainly remembered meeting Qian outside the bar.

"Why are they in the garden, though?" he glanced around. Few of the spinach shoots were damaged but other than that his garden was intact.

"oh..... Your father was asleep last night, and it was late. I did not want them to travel so far, so I suggested for them to sleep in..., but who knew why would sleep here. At least they are not cold," she whispered, glancing up.

Their house's pond was smack in the middle of the building. Meaning it was surrounded by the rooms and there was only one skylight that gave enough sunlight to grow the plants. Yue had fortified it with temper glass and steel rods, so these two were warm and comfortable sleeping in his garden.

"Should we wake them up?"

"Breakfast is almost ready. Let them freshen up," his mum whispered.

Yue gently tapped Peng Peng's head. "Wakey Wakey sleepy head."

Peng Peng groaned and glanced back. "Yue, bring some water," he whispered in a hoarse voice.

Zou Yue squatted down. "You okay? You sound bad... what did you do?" he narrowed his eyes.

For which he just gave a mischievous smile. "He-he young kids like you should not be privy of such details."

"Come one tell me. What did you both did? Did you guys get physical? Oh! Did you both kiss!!" he excitedly whispered.

Even his mother squatted down, anxious to listen to his story.

Peng Peng smirked widely. "oh you would never know what else we did."

Yue chuckled loudly. Suddenly, his jovial smile turned into a small frown. "Wait, do I need to disinfect the sofa or uproot any plants here?"

"That one," Peng Peng showed him the damaged spinach plant. "You might want to destroy that. It has too much Dna evidence,"

"Copy that. Mum I need my gloves,"

Yes~" she happily ran to the kitchen to bring him a disposable gloves.

"I will just wipe down the sofa just in case." Yue hurriedly cleaned all the surfaces and uprooted the Dna soiled plants. To his surprise, it was not in a very bad condition.

His apocalyptic frugal mind in him was tempted to just plant it once again, but just thinking about eating Peng Peng's DNA sent shivers down his spine. "aaghh I don't want to imagine that,"

"You naughty naughty boy," Pen Peng smilingly watched this form his rolled up sheets.

"Aren't you going to wake up brother Qian?" Yue slapped his face playfully with the soiled plant.

"he is awake," he nudged him. The taller man shrunk a little into the sheets. "I bet he is just shy."

"oh I see.." Yue giggled and left the garden area. "hey take your time brother Qian. My parents and I will be in my father's room. Oh, I shall bring some change of clothes too." He shouted before running away.

Peng Peng giggled and softly kicked the person next to him. "he just left,"

"hmm.." Qian popped his head out with a shy blush. "We didn't even do anything. Why did you lie?"

"I absolutely can't say that I got pushed by a shy guy and fell on that plant, right? This is Yue's father's garden. He will get super pissed," Peng Peng, whispered gently caressing the taller man's chin.

"oh then, why did we sleep out here?" Qian pulled down the sheets to reveal a fully clothed torso.

"I wanted our first sleepover to be under the stars," Peng Peng gently kissed his cheeks. "And I also know that you want to take things slow. Sooo... I will follow your phase,'

"Thanks...." Qian whispered, kissing his chin gently. "I will try my best to not get shy and push you off next time,"

"Next time you can push me on a firm bed and o all your research on me."

Peng Peng got up and walked away with a swagger on his steps, leaving a bright red Qian still wrapped in the sheets.

"I am so done for," Qian wen mumbled.

All his life he had spent researching virus strands and what not... but now... he had to learn how to date..

He pulled his phone out and searched. "How not to get shy when your boyfriend approaches you?"
