The Great Snake

Adam, Layla and Salma were now heading towards the Great Snake's Den.

Python was wrapped around Adam's neck.

They were followed by 26 Tamed Spiders.

Adam had tried getting an army of more, but as soon as there were more than 26 spiders plus Python, the group would start to disobey Adam's commands.

The Tamed Spiders were composed of 14 Paralysing Spiders, 11 Venomous Spiders and one Starved Mutated Black Widow.

Once they arrived in front of the tunnel, Salma confirmed that The Great Snake was asleep.

Salma had bought lots and lots of Light Mana Potions.

Layla took her two Iron Maces out of her Storage.

Adam took the Goblin Chief's Greatsword out of his Storage. He wanted to conserve his Mana Points for later. He also had his Dark Cloak and Old Assassin's Boots on.

And Salma enflamed all the weapons before drinking Mana Potions.

Adam entered the tunnel first.

He was followed by Layla, all the spiders and then Salma.

Salma was to stay behind and shoot her destructive Fire Arrows.

Once he arrived at the end of the tunnel, he put Python down.

Python's role was to destroy as many eggs as possible and get rid of the small snakes.

After letting enough time for Python to get lost between the eggs, it was Adam and Layla's time to take cover and hide behind the eggs.

They went out of the tunnel and ran towards the eggs as fast as they could.

Thankfully, The Great Snake didn't notice them.

After they hid, it was time for all the spiders to come into The Great Snake's Den.

All the spiders went out of the tunnel slowly but surely, just like Adam had ordered them to.

Right after they all left the tunnel, they started spreading out and taking more space.

The Paralysing and Venomous Spiders' role was to spread out and shoot as much poison at The Great Snake as possible.

The Starved Mutated Black Widow's role was to use its sharp claws to damage The Great Snake.

The Great Snake finally felt something was wrong.

Maybe it was its arrogance that led him to ignore the sounds that it had heard.

Once it opened its eyes, a barrage of projectiles was coming towards it.

Yellow Paralyzing Poison was flying towards it, Purple Venomous Poison was coming closer and closer, but both of these were nothing compared to the extremely bright and fast fiery arrow that was directed towards its head.

The Great Snake raised its head up. The Fire Arrow hit its neck. The scales on its neck were burnt to a crisp and some started falling down.

Although it had dodged a critical attack, most of the poison had hit its body.

[The Great Snake has been poisoned.]

[The Great Snake is losing 50Health Points per second.]

[The Great Snaked has been paralyzed.]

[The Great Snake's movements will be much slower.]

It wasn't complete paralysis, but that was enough.

As soon as they saw the message, Adam and Layla ran as fast as they could.

Layla, a lot faster than Adam, arrived before and started attacking The Great Snake's burnt neck. Since scales had fallen, Layla's Weakness Exploitation Skill showed her that it was the weakest point of its body. As soon as she started hitting it with her enflamed Iron Maces, she activated her "Acceleration" Skill. Her movements were now much faster and the number of hits she landed at such a weak point increased exponentially.

Adam him, jumped up towards The Great Snake's head and slashed its already burnt eye with all his strength.

The monster roared in pain.

The monster still could move its head despite the paralysis.

It shook off Adam who fell to the ground.

But as soon as he fell to the ground, he used his Temporary Concealment Skill and moved towards The Great Snake's intact eye.

Before the countdown for his Temporal Concealment Skill ended, he managed to touch The Great Snake's intact eye.

It only took an instant for its eye and the surrounding space to turn into ashes.

Adam got rid of its whole eyeball and the zone around it in a 1 meter radius.

Even though The Great Snake had lost both its eyes, it was as lively as ever.

The spiders were still shooting their poison at it, but it looked like it became less and less effective.

Salma felt great after The Great Snake lost its sight. Now, her Fire Arrows would hit perfectly.

Layla's "Acceleration" Skill was over, once she noticed that the snake was moving more than it did earlier, she put one of her Iron Maces in her Inventory and put her left hand against The Great Snake's burnt neck. It burnt her palm for a second before,

'Freeze!'

She used 100% of her Mana Points. The whole burnt section of The Great Snake's neck was now covered in Ice.

The monster screeched in pain and started moving in every direction. Layla looked back at Salma before jumping back.

Salma immediately understood what Layla wanted her to do.

She aimed her next arrow towards the neck that Layla had just frozen.

As Layla looked at the beast's neck, it became more and more dyed in a deep red.

Which meant that the point was getting weaker and weaker.

'All my Mana Points in one shot.'

Salma's arms were once again covered in fierce flames as she let go the flaming arrow. Her body was completely thrown back and she fell on her butt.

But all she thought about was seeing where the arrow would land.

And it landed on the upper part of the frozen area.

Her aim was great. The attack was a huge success.

As soon as the blazing arrow touched the frozen area, an explosion took place and The Great Snake could only screech and roar in pain.

Meanwhile, Adam was continuously attacking the monster's head, back, tail, and nape. Whenever he would attack its head, the monster would throw him away. He would attack wherever he was, before heading back towards the head.

Finally, after he noticed the huge hole that Salma and Layla's combo had made, he let go of his greatsword and ran towards the monster's neck.

Layla and Salma saw him arriving and left him space. They attacked other bodyparts.

The Great Snake was less and less feeling the effects of the Paralysis.

It was now attacking with its huge tail in all directions. Many spiders died, but Layla and Adam dodged easily those random attacks.

While Adam moved towards the monster's neck, he drank many Light Mana Potions. His Mana Points were practically at full when he was in front of the beat's neck.

[A Certain Evil is looking at you.]

'100 Mana Points. I'll make the strongest Dagger I can make with that.'

The Dagger appeared in his hand.

[ Reinforced Conjured Dagger [E]. Attack Power 75. Duration: 10 seconds.]

Adam sprinted towards the beast's neck and plunged towards it.

The dagger cut through the skin and muscle.

His whole arm was inside the snake's body.

The monster got agitated, but it couldn't move its neck too much because of the pain it was feeling.

When Adam's arm was as deep as he could get it inside The Great Snake's body, he let go of the Reinforced Conjured Dagger.

Adam shouted

"I'll use all my Mana Points and all my Endurance Points."

The insides of the snake turned quickly to ashes. It had lost the internal organs that connected its body to its head. There was a huge hole below the monster's jaw.

The snake spat out liters of blood, but that wasn't enough to kill it.

Adam was about to lose consciousness, but he jumped away many times before falling to the ground.

He gave one last command before he passed out.

"SPIDERS! Enter its body from the neck and destroy it all!"

He commanded, and they executed.

All the spiders that were still alive, about twelve of them including the Starved Mutated Black Widow entered The Great Snake's body and destroyed it from the inside.

The Great Snake was absolutely helpless against such an attack.

The spiders kept going at it, until eventually.
