Adam, Layla and Salma sat down inside The Great Snake's Den, with their backs against a wall.
It was a lot brighter than any other inside the Dungeon.
"Leaving feels weird..." Salma muttered.
Her older sister nodded.
"It always feels weird leaving... Somehow..." Adam answered weakly.
"Weren't you happy to leave in the previous Dungeon?" Salma asked.
Adam and Layla still hadn't told her much about Adam's story or about his family. She didn't know that he had lost them inside that Dungeon. She had actually completely forgotten about the fact that he had a family. They had spent about a week together, but to Salma, Adam was basically a brother who she could count on.
Layla looked at Adam with an understanding expression.
An expression that said 'You can tell her the truth if you want to'.
Adam thought a bit about what to answer her.
[ A Certain Evil is looking at you. ]
"My exit ... was pretty emotional."
"I bet! Must have been scary alone. Can you imagine if I had entered alone? Or if we hadn't followed Layla?" Salma said.
"Or if you hadn't followed us." Layla told Adam.
"True! It would have been heeell. We wouldn't have thought about training at all." Salma said while looking at Layla.
"We wouldn't have found The Great Snake's Den and the baby snake that we ate." Layla added.
"We wouldn't have fought really."
"I think we would have just starved without even burning that spiderweb wall."
"Oh. Come on. Don't say it like that. But yeah, we probably would have, hahaha."
The two sisters giggled while thinking about how their experience would have been without Adam.
Meanwhile, he was thinking about what to do after going outside of the Dungeon.
'What to do now? Where to go? I could stay with them but...'
"We should get going. Let's not tell Grandma and Grandpa that we took out time here." Layla said as she got up.
They made their way outside the Hidden Location.
Once they got out of the tunnel, they found a purple Dungeon Gate.
[Please take the Gate to go outside the dungeon.]
They stood in front of the Gate for a bit, before taking it.
[You have left the Dungeon.]
[The Gods welcome you back to your world.]
They once again were back.
Although it was a bit dark, even Layla could pretty well.
The sight brought tears to her eyes that she held back.
"Ouf. Finally! Let's go see everyone!" Salma shouted with her arms up.
Screens appeared in front of the trio.

"What the hell..." Adam muttered.
"Yeah...It's a lot... I got about 27.000 Experience Points." Layla answered.
"Hoho. I got 33.000!" Salma bragged.
"I got about 39.000, but it's weird. I didn't kill a lot of those baby snakes or spiders."
Python, who was on the ground, quickly climbed Adam's body and stood on his shoulders.
The Fire Salamander held its head high.
"Oh. It was you." Adam said as he petted Python's red head.
"That's sooo not fair! I mean I...." Salma shouted.
A screen appeared in front of each of them.
[ Choose the type of weapon you would like to obtain.]
[ The weapon will be forged using the remains of the spiders you have personally slain.]
"Oh." Salma said, as she was interrupted.
[Please choose one of the Weapon Categories below.
1) Spear.
2) Sword.
3) Shortsword.
4) Dagger.
]
"Ummm.." Layla said with her hand on her chin.
"A Spear would be good since I have a Shield....But Shortsword and Daggers go well with my Stealth Stat..." Adam muttered without meaning to.
"What's a Shortsword?" Salma asked.
"Oh. Um, it's shorter than a Sword but longer than a Dagger, I think." Adam answered.
"Yep." Layla added.
"Alright. That sounds cool." Salma said as she selected her choice.
The other two seeing her choose so fast raised their shoulders and picked their weapon too.
A screen appeared in front of Salma first.
Screens appeared in front of the other two a moment after.
Each had different choices depending on the monsters they had slain and on the type they chose.
For Adam,
[ Choose one of the following weapons.
1) Mutated Sword.
2) Venomous Sword.
3) The Black Widow's Sword.
]
For Layla,
[ Choose one of the following weapons.
1) Mutated Spear.
2) Paralysing Spear.
3) The Black Widow's Spear.
]
They all made their choice at the same time without speaking or discussing anything.
[ You will find your Weapon inside your Inventory.]
The three looked at each other.
"Who's going to show first?" Salma asked.
"Adam. You go first." Layla said playfully.
"Alright." He said.
Adam opened his Storage and selected his newly acquired Weapon.
A black sword appeared in his hand.
It was dark, from its hilt to its hilt.
A singular red stripe crossed the blade.
He swung a couple of times.
'Alright. Perfect weight. Heavier than the Old Assassin's Dagger and a lot lighter than the Goblin Chief's Greatsword.'
"So cooool..." Salma said with shiny eyes.
"Oh. You chose the sword? Widow's Sword, right?" Layla asked as she noticed the red stripe on the black weapon.
"Yep. That's it." Adam answered.
"Why the Sword?" She asked.
"Well... I have a Dagger and I also have a Greatsword, so I chose the thing in between I guess."
Layla chuckled a bit.
"That's not a good explanation at all. Anyways, Sword and Shield is a classic I guess."
"Layla! Layla! Your turn." Salma shouted
Layla took out her weapon too.
A Black Spear appeared in her hand.
The Weapon was longer than she was tall.
It was dark, like Adam's Sword.
The difference in color was that her Spear's blade had a yellow stripe crossing it.
She moved it around easily and beautifully.
"You chose the spear?" Salma asked.
"I already have a good Dagger. Would have been cool to use two Daggers at once, but I also need to attack from a safe distance I think. Plus this is a Paralysing Spear, so..." Layla explained.
"Good choice." Adam said while scratching his head.
'Maybe I should have taken a Spear too.'
"Alright. Are you ready to see the coolest weapon ever?" Salma asked.
The two nodded.
They didn't expect much, but they were very surprised.
It usually went like that with the young Salma.
She took a Shortsword from her Storage.
While it was shorter than Adam's Sword, it was still as long as Salma's arm.
The weapon was white as snow, with a singular black stripe on its blade.
"Wait..." Adam said, dumbfounded.
"For real?"
"Hehehe! Look at that! The Spider Queen's Shortsword. Isn't it super cool?" Salma proudly held her Weapon.
After Salma bragged for a bit more, the three looked at the information on their respective weapons.
"The Attack Power of my Spear is 75. And an additional 15 in Paralysis. If enough damage is done, the enemy will be paralyzed...That's pretty good." Layla said after reading everything.
"Hehe! My Shortsword's Attack Power is 125, Venomous Damage is 15 and Paralysis Damage is another 15!" Salma bragged.
"My Sword had an Attack Power of 110. That's it. Can't poison, can't paralyze. Makes sense, since the Black Widows were strong, but that was it." Adam said as he put his weapon back into his Storage.
'The Attack Power of The Goblin Chief's Greatsword is slowly looking less and less impressive." He thought.
"Should we look at the Titles and stuff?" Salma said excitedly.
"Let's do that later. First, we have to go home." Layla got up.
"Are you sure? We can stay here a bit more." Salma said with a weak voice.
"Why would we?" Layla asked.
"I don't know. Alright, let's go. I hope we'll find Dad and Mom at home." Salma said as she walked towards her grandparents' house.
'Oh. No wonder she doesn't want to go there.' Adam thought.
The other two followed her quietly.
They weren't sure what to say to her.
Also, it was dark. They couldn't tell which way was the house.
But Salma could, thanks to her two Skills "Cat Senses" and "Fox Vision".
The Gate was less than 2 kilometers away from their house, but there were two other Gates just as close to the house as the one they just got out from.
They all walked quietly until they arrived in front of the house.
The three stopped in front of it for a bit.
