"Do you like the show?" Nicklaus Elan asked Kiara only to realize that the latter's attention was on somewhere else.

"Kiara," he muttered and glanced around. "What are you looking at?"

Hearing his voice, Kiara promptly turned to him. "Nothing," she said and forced a smile.

Nicklaus Elan simply shifted his attention back to the show while Kiara warily glanced in the same direction. Then she saw the same man again.

This time, the man was ready to throw his knife at the Commander. Without even thinking much, she stood behind Commander Nicklaus, making the man put down his knife with reluctance.

"What are you doing?" Nicklaus Elan asked when he realized that she was standing behind and not beside him.

Kiara shook her head and stood beside him again. "Let's look around more," she said to him. "We're not even halfway."
