I Regret Trusting You

Karium Maselli was in his chamber, wondering if his letter would reach the Avarian Princess by now. The Princess should already be reading his letter if his calculation was right but... will she even care to write a reply?

The thought made the Prince let out a sigh.

It was so hard to handle an inconsiderate woman!

The Prince was snapped out of his thoughts by the sound of knocking on his door and when he responded, Lance walked inside.

"Your Highness."

"What's the matter, Lance?"

"The guards find the store where the same poison was purchased a few days before Her Majesty was poisoned," Lance informed the Prince who instantly gave him full attention. "Though it has been months, the owner of the store says that he vaguely remembers the face of the one who bought it as the poison was a rare one."

"Do you still draw the face? Even if it's unclear, it will still help us," Karium Maselli promptly said.
