Karium Maselli quickly changed his wine-stained coat with the new one that the servants brought for him. Then he walked out of the chamber to join Nicklaus and his wife for a chat.

"When will we return, Your Highness?" Lance promptly asked the Prince who came out of the chamber.

The guard was on high alert as he knew that the men who attacked the Prince and Lena last time were sent by the Thigon Princess. Prince Karium understood this and he simply patted Lance on the shoulder with a smile.

"Take it easy, Lance," he said. "Everything will be fine."

"I just can't keep my guard down, Your Highness," Lance argued. "You know that His Majesty is also worried. He doesn't trust the Princess of Thigon."

"Apart from Lena, Commander Nicklaus is my closest friend. You know that, Lance," the Prince said to his right-hand man. "Trust in me and wait for just an hour."
