We sat in the living room of an old mage tower that stood between the two kingdoms. The tower stood tall with about 5 floors. The outside was made of stone bricks in multiple shades of grey ranging from light grey to dark steel. A green fungus covered many of the stones and green vine with beautiful purple and blue flowers, with tiny bits of pink, that traveled all the way to the top. At the top there was not the typical cone point but rather was flat with a castle type border. The living room we sat in had a lovely red and golden aesthetic. A large rose red carpet, a three seater sofa seated by me and Allicin, two red velvet arm chairs that Aidan and Ace were on, and a long glass table that had a silver plate full of sugar cookies with earl grey tea served to us by the caretaker. As we discussed the important next step of the plan.
" His fear is starting. Doubling security, having magicians with him at all times. Though the problem is concerning the King's Imperial squadron. They have been trained especially to protect him from us."
"Aidan is right. With his fear increasing it won't be long till he dispatches them. We need a strategy to get rid of them."
The King's black card, getting rid of them would be the best option. Agh! How bothersome. What should we do, killing them with our hands would be way too trouble, will have to use magic. But what if we don't kill all of them. The orange file in front of me had all the information we needed about it. Looking at the papers, their names, ages, home town, occupation...that is it, our targets.
"Miller Haten, Sara Moton, and John Moton. Only them, there all we need the rest I will leave for Allicin. Do as you see fit. On that note, thank you Mr. Elecorin for everything but we must not sit here and wait for him to get stronger. We need to attack first inorder to win. We need to stay one step ahead at all times. Aidan gets Allicin through a portal."
Aidan nods his head and exits the room. I remember Allicin telling that as they entered the room beside Aidan stopped. She said he looked worried, afraid about what might happen. She saw his face get pale, his hand shaking as he set them into position to create the portal. But after a little more thought he stopped, he walked towards Allicin and his hand behind her hand pinning her against the wall. Without even a moment in between his lip pressed against hers, one kiss turned into two to three and four, his body coming closer and closer he realises and kisses a few times on her neck. She said that the feeling was filled with passion but could also feel him shaking. By just his eyes she could tell he was scared to leave her alone with people that could easily hurt her, kill her. Stopped knowing he would end up going too far.
"I will go with you, I will protect. No, no, I'll go instead. I'll talk to Iis, she will understand. I'll go now. "
She said the way she looked at him was with both happiness and a bit of guilt. The fact that he loved so much he would kill for her, die for her, it was enough to tell her how much he loved her but also enough to tell her that he might one day be dead because of her. It scared her, but she knew we all came into this knowing not all of us would come out.
"Now I know how Iis felt when she said she didn't want us to get involved in revenge. But this is not about us, it's about them. The pain they felt, the blood they lost, the thought of the life they could have had flashing before them. And possibly the fear they had of leaving us. They deserved better and those who did it to them deserve worse. You will open a portal to the squadron. I will enter their rooms, place a knife at the magician's necks and quickly slit it clean. They don't have anything to do with our parents death but they are protecting him and he needs to die. And just like before you and Gilbert will kill the guards. And Iis will go for the Queen. Do you understand? And never forget I love you okay? "
"Got it, I love you too."
