Chapter 7 - Moving On

"Did Hua Ge cry?", a worried Liang asked Wei. They were watching a movie in the living room, while Hua was sleeping in his bedroom.

As soon as Li Hua and Zhang Wei had better control over their emotions, they walked back to their Bungalow in silence. Hua immediately went to his room not wanting Liang to notice his puffed-up eyes and question him, since then never came out. It had been 3 hours since then.

"What? No..." Wei said trying to watch the movie to not raise any suspicion. He hates it, Wei hates lying to Liang, but it was his Ge's decision and Wei agreed to why Hua wanted to keep it a secret. He did want to see Liang be happy again. Ever since the breakup, Liang wasn't the same, he was just living, taking one day at a time. Liang needed this, at first Zhang Wei didn't like the idea of hurting one of his friends just so that his other friend would heal. It just seemed stupid. But then he thought that maybe as Hua said, maybe being around Zhao Shufen would help Hua to move on. Give him closure, something he never got. It might be a good idea, but he still was worried about Hua. Li Hua definitely had a bad breakup, but not as bad as Liang's. But at least both Liang and Wei knew the reason why their boyfriends broke up with them. Li Hua didn't even know why Zhang Shufen left him. It's been 2 years, and yet he never got the reason why?

Who was he kidding ... No matter who's breakup was worst, it had hurt them all badly. But out of the 3 of them, Zhang Wei does agree, he was the one doing better than the rest. No, he hasn't moved on. No, it didn't stop hurting but instead of trying to forget the pain like his friends, Wei learned to live with it. He has accepted his heartbreak and has also given himself time to heal.

Seeing Zhao Shufen, Zhang Wei started thinking about his Ex- Huang Zhen.

Huang Zhen and Zhang Wei had a history. After Wei's mother passed away when he was 5, Wei and his dad started volunteering at his mother's orphanage. At the orphanage, Wei met Huang Zhen, a boy who was the same age as Wei but was tinnier and definitely much more energetic. It took some time, but Zhen and Wei became inseparable whenever Wei came to the orphanage. When they were 8, Zhen and Wei after watching a movie decided to play Prince and Princess, Wei was the Prince. He was taller and Zhen being the tiny one of the 2 was the princess. The Prince saved the princess, what comes next? The movie showed them that the princess after being saved gifts the prince a peck and they loved happily ever after. and just like that, the 2 kids shared a peck which followed with loud laughter waiting for their happy ever after. But one day, when Wei went to the orphanage after 2 weeks, he couldn't find his Zhen. He cried the whole day, his princess was missing. Turns out Huang Zhen, was not an orphan but was living with his grandma while his parents lived aboard who too used to come for volunteering. Unfortunately, in the two weeks that Wei hadn't come to the orphanage, Zhen's grandmother passed away and Zhen was taken aboard by his father. For few days Wei cried, for few months Wei remembered Zhen, but after a few years Huang Zhen had become a part of Wei's past. That doesn't mean he forgot Zhen, no every time he went to the orphanage, he remembered a blurry face and childish play and promises. He wondered how his princess was now? He never thought he would meet him, but when he was in his 2nd year of University.

Zhao Wei realized he was thinking about something he shouldn't. He pushed the thoughts away.... way back in his mind. He slapped his cheek hard and forced himself and focused on the movie in front of him until he heard the sound of the footsteps coming down the stairs. Looking up, he saw Hua coming down from his room while rubbing his eyes cutely. It was really difficult for Liang and Hua to keep in their soft smile about how cute their Gege looked.

Li Hua walked towards the sofa, he sat down and then places his head on Liang's lap, while closing his eyes again. "What are we watching?" He asked after some time. "I'm not sure....some movie" Liang replied as he looked at the TV. LI Hua just hummed in reply.

"So what are your plans for tomorrow?" Wei asked as he turned off the TV as the movie got over and credits rolled. "I think I'm going to the beach to have some relax time....." Hua said as he acted out how he would sleep on the beach. Liang nodded. "I agree with Hua ge, let's just rest tomorrow" he said."hmm beach it is ....how about some dinner now?" Wei said after some thinking.

Zhao Wei, Li Hua, and Yang Liang were now making way to the restaurant where they had their lunch. But this time it was crowded. So they decided to have the buffet instead this time. Once the 3 filled their plates with whatever they wanted, they sat on the only table available in the restaurant. Liang sat beside Wei and Hua sat in front of them. They were munching and talking happily. Until Hua recognized few familiar pair of faces, behind Liang...that were making their way to the very same table as they were sitting.

Hua immediately grabbed Wei's hands for support. Wei looked at him for a moment until his eyes followed Hua eyes only to be shocked. He looked at Hua with concern. This time the concern was not only for Hua but also for Liang who was happily eating his food totally unaware of his Friends giving him scared looks. How? why should this happen? Wasn't just Shufen suppose to be here.

Zhao Wei and Li Hua silently prayed while starting to formulate a Just a plan , to get out of here. But as the men walked towards to their table, the only plan Hua could think of was hiding as he was directly facing that way. He isn't proud of what he did, but he ducked below the table acting like he was picking something as to not alert Liang. Praying that the men walk away. But no, hiding below the table Hua heard a voice, followed by the sound of the clash of the spoon dropping on the plate.

"Hello...can we sit at this table all the other tables are full?"
